I still think Stillen is the way to go as non carb legal kits are a hassle when smog time comes. I do appreciate the hard work Stillen put into getting CARB certification I just hope I can get carb legal hp numbers closer to what I have seen from other installs.. And truly if your not worried about carb why not just do proper twin turbo?

Having spent more time with their kit it does work well the tune just needs a wee bit of tweaking. I think I will have some real improvements soon with my carb legal tune.
You can not tune VVEl at all,If Uprev hasnt come out with it then Stillen cant do anything about it either. There using uprev software, I do wish there was a way to tune VVEL,a tweak to your tune will give you a little better results. However some of the other installs you are talking about with better number's have the smaller pulley.Like the dyno chart posted in your thread, thats with the 9 pound pulley from Stillen.

I dont think you will get the low end you are searching for from the Centrifical blower,Unless you up the boost some with a re tune.Every dyno I have seen from the stock pulley doesnt even break 300 ft lbs of torque. I hope everything works out for you though man I really do.

Time to revive this old thread.... Enthusiast Auto Care in collaboration with BTW tuning are proud to bring you the first 50 state C.A.R.B. approved twin turbo kit for the vq37vhr platform. All Nissan/Infiniti models will be covered. Testing has already completed and the kit has passed all the tests.

We are gearing up to meet major demand for this kit and are not taking pre-orders yet. The CARB EO# has not been assigned yet. We expect the EO# to be assigned within a few months, then we will begin taking orders.

Here are some details about the kit:

*Ecutek tuned
*GTR Turbos
*GTR Injectors
*Proprietary emissions control strategy for clean emissions (PATENT PENDING)
*8psi boost achieved relatively early on (approximately 2.5k rpm)
*Includes launch control, flat foot shifting, and other advanced ecutek features.
** 100% street legal !

If the kit is configured for a track/tuner configuration it is capable of producing well over 600whp on e85.

Pls contact Trips and get to be an approved vendor on here, iirc, it’s against forum rules to do otherwise.

Having said that, Sounds like great news. Sadly, CARB approved mods are getting to be the only way to go nowadays.

Yes, the tune I developed that was used for the federal and state testing has been approved and there will be a verification process at the time of smog check to make sure that the equipped vehicle meets all requirements per the assigned carb EO - simply put, if you’re doing a smog check and running the tune that the kit comes with, you will be allowed to pass.

So, I tried looking on the website for more info, but it’s just a redirect to Yelp reviews. Pics of the kit? 93 (or so) octane pump gas numbers? For us that don’t care about CARB (love eating them, and Texas don’t care about it) can we swap the carb tune for a custom ecutek tune? What HP/TQ can the GTR injectors push safely without going to 100% duty cycle? I’m just looking to do 600-650whp with safe torque numbers (don’t want to do the rod out the block ejection mod quite yet lol). All of us could use som’ore info, including pricing.
