Everyones gonna have there opinions. The rear mount is a good kit but its either you hate it or ya love it. I like it! I went twin turbo because I want to extract every bit of power I can out of it. Im not happy with mediocre. If ya just want a little power on a budget I personaly would do the supercharger route. Some people like turbos so if your on a budget and you want turbo the rear mount is your only option. At least for now

The biggest downside to rear-mounted turbos is that the standard Cats sometimes gives up the ghost and can damage the turbo (Normal turbo before cats). If I were going rear mounted, I'd go test pipes ar at least hi-flow cats.

I think GTM's Stage II SC kit has proven that you don't have to get "less power" with a SC... It's more like different power... Turbos spool, then boost and feel great but you've got to stay in the boost. SCs are always there... They give you a linear curve but lack the kick in the pants feeling that abrupt boost creates. That is not to say that one is better than the other... You need to evaluate your goals and budget then go from there.
For the Z34 platform, I say SC. For the Z33... Now that is another story.

You know that SC stage2 is no where near turbo stage 1 torque power right? |

and than that good man ^ decided he didnt want it and passed it on to me.... how sweet of him!!! lol...
Now I will harass him to help me install it, I plan on after tune to be around 5k which is awesome... All I have to do it send my injectors out to be cleaned and tested... And when my stock clutch blows I will have to replace that... my clutch now only has 1000 miles on it so I'm not gonna just replace it before it goes... No i wont have 400 tq or 500whp but I will have a healthy amount more than bolt ons and thats fine with me!

I do want to add though that the Stage II kit does come really close to some of the TT numbers. Superior... definitely not, but a worthy alternative. There is also the aspect of the torque curve and such but that's for another thread.

i completely agree with the above post by wwjd stating that maintenence would probably be a lot easier with a sc. i have a turbo'd car currently running 18psi, and i must say that turbo's add a whole new dimension to engine maintenance

Yes, it is enough. Seen it done on many f-bodies.

Sounds like Apples and Oranges to me. High strung V6 vs lower rev-ing V8.......
It may work out nicely on the F-Bodies, but prolly net different results on the Zs. I have no proof though. Perhaps someone can be the test subject / pioneer considering both Zs with that setup have sold or up for sale......

The Vid with the Civic is CLASSIC, The only one better is the AZZ clown driving around in his Civic yelling at poeple about his VTEC. I cant find the vid tho.
