Finally got tuned!!

So...just like many other people with a Stillen supercharger kit using one of their tunes, my car never really ran properly since being installed last year.
I spent a lot of time looking for a solution and finally contacted Vince at R/T Tuning earlier this year to discuss my issues. When we spoke on the telephone, his knowledge inspired a lot of confidence in his ability to sort out the problems unlike other guys that I talked to previously. So it was just a matter of finding time to get down to Pennsylvania from where I live which is about 7-8 hour drive.
I finally made it down there this past Monday and I couldn't be happier with the results. The car drives exactly like stock and was still getting over 800kms highway.

Here are some of the specs on my car.

-Stillen supercharger kit 9psi
-Akrapovic cat back
-Invidia test pipes (had to get installed at R/T because my FI high flow cats were falling apart)
-It was 90-95F degrees that afternoon.

I would highly recommend anyone in the upper east USA or Canada to see Vince for any of their tuning needs.

Great numbers! Congrats!

Custom tune ftw for sure. For some reason Stillen tunes just doesn't work for anybody. You're not the only one.

Congrats! The car estimated fuel economy is NOT accurate after you change the injectors though, you're more likely getting around 500-600km from each tank.

NICE NUMBERS!!!!! :eekdance:

Cool... Glad you are happy with the tune. Good to see another FI car with a happy owner.

Thanks for the props!
I made it back home with a little bit more than 1 full tank of fuel so mine is probably still pretty accurate. I was driving like a grandma with my cruise on though...:driving:

Impressive... so at what point do the tires start getting overwhelmed? :)

You can full throttle second gear and get full traction with vdc off . As long as you have decent tires and a good alignment you should be fine. I get full traction doing this with the stock suspension on my car. From first gear its a little bit of a challenge.

Car looks great:tup:

I haven't had a chance to really open it up but I'm going lapping next week so that should be lots of fun.
