GTM isn't ready with the manifold adapter, so this part of the project will be put on hold indefinitely. With the solid aluminum intake plenum, I can only imagine what the engine would sound like.

I inquired about the kit this morning, and from the response I will safely assume it is a "yes."
Rear bumper repaint should be completed. The plan is to debadge the rear bumper and paint the valence semi-gloss black. The rear splash guards will get CF vinyl wrapped. I'll post pictures as soon as I get them. Feel free to fill in the details if you guys decide visit. ![]()

I will check on your car digi. When I saw it two days ago, it was in the paint booth. Then I got mad and kicked your door! ![]()

Lol... does Jason work weekends? The bumper is going to get reworked again. It was supposed to be debadged, and they will reduce the gloss over black paint.

Original plan was HKS EVC 6 and AFK, but it might be overkill for my application. Plus, I wouldn't know what to do with it other than to monitor it so much. I had a nice Depo wideband gauge, but it was too wmall.

It would be good to monitor how ur motor is running. A wideband A/F gauge will tell you many things besides the actual fuel ratio. You can check for lean spots through out rpm range and it could give indication if you are knocking. I personally would not go FI without an A/F gauge.
How about EVC-S and Innovative Wideband? They can be had for about $550 both. Last edited by Ron; 08-08-2011 at 09:16 AM. |
