What kind of motor mounts are u running in your boost z?

It feels like the motor mounts cant handle the power and wathcing it on the dyno my tuner suggested some high perf motor mounts to tighten everything up. What do you guys think?

Well, we definitely recommend some polyurethane motor mounts if you're going to be making a lot of power. We developed motor mounts for our Stage 2 Supercharger kit because we needed the clearance and wanted to keep the motor from jostling around.

Here are some pics of our motor mounts (they come standard in our Stage 2 Supercharger Kit, but will be available separately):

At 1:25, you can see the mounts in action on our Stage 2 Supercharger Kit.

Besides the GTM ones for the Stage II no one has said they make any yet.
How much power are you putting down?

I wonder how much additional vibration comes through to the cabin with these stiffer mounts. I know everything is a tradeoff, and that motor is incredibly stable in the video under acceleration.

I had the same concern myself, but I'm very pleased with the results . it is not bad at all .

Nice. I believe I had upgraded mounts on my STi and never really noticed, but that car kinda shimmied anyway.

1200 miles in the last 24 hours. I agree with sam.

So only GTM offers strengthened mounts? Nissan doesn't have NISMO mounts or something like that?

I was going to ask this in the sc thread, but didnt because "I'm a hater". I changed out the tranny mount and my car rattled so bad I felt like it was gonna fall apart. That was a lot further away from the source than the actual motor mounts...

Yeah, except that the tranny mounts sit under your seat and the vibration has a very direct path to your rear end.
