Picking up the Stage 2 Vert from GTM!
 

I wanted to start a thread because tomorrow, Wednesday, July 27th, I will be picking up the Z from GTM with the brand new Stage 2 SC and driving it home to St. Louis. I will have my iPad, so I will be posting as the trip goes and taking pictures. I won't be able to post the pics because I don't know to how post them from the iPad ( if someone knows how, please teach me). I have relatives in Denver and Kansas City so I will be going through Vegas and up to HWY 70. I have a LITTLE time should some one want to meet me along the way to see it. Should be a beautiful drive. As I said, I will be posting as I go, giving input and my opinions, so ask any questions you would like and I will get to them as we go!! Wish me luck and hopefully it is a smooth trip with no hiccups!!! Talk to you guys soon. :tiphat:

Hey its probably been posted elsewhere but what were the final dyno numbers and what exhaust setup are you running with the S/C kit? To echo everyone else, enjoy the drive home, don't forget the sunscreen and post opinions and info soon!

I think his last numbers were 517 rwhp and 377(?) rwtq on 11 psi. I was going with the GTM CBE (had to be built still) but due to time constraints, I went with Invidia.

517whp and 377 tq with stock cats and a catback?!? Wow, and I'm betting that the meth allows you to run 11psi safely. I wonder, how much further can GTM take the SC on a stock block once they crack VVel (crickets on updates) and add on their GTR upper intake manifold.

It's getting close to the limit now. I wouldn't want my car to be THAT test car.

Bro, I definitely don't want you to be that guy either. You potential to test out long term reliability would be way more useful. However, for arguments sake whats the upper limits of boost the stage 2 headunit can put out?

Not sure. A lot of variables to consider... meth, intake, LTH, VVEL control etc. That would be better answered by Sam. I see Sam lurking here so maybe he will chime in.

by any chance do you know If those dyno numbers where made using meth? Or the car hasn't been dyno'd yet on meth?

I would love to join the 500 whp club, but I'm too scared of all that extra power going to my head. :ugh2: I might hover around 430-445 whp with the Stage II TT.

Hell i'd be happy with a stg I SC kit.
