Welcome! In for pics after your CBE install.

A GTM stage I SC or TT will take you to about 450 RWHP, FYI.

:iagree:

CBE as a first mod is always a good choice though, it gives the car some life.

Unless you plan to force induce right away, because you won't need that intake anymore if you do.

no lame mods here .....the next one will be gtm stage 2 superchger and stillen long tube headers or gtm twin turbo i have a budget of 8k rigth now but i want best bang for buck and i am leaning hard on the stg 2 superchger

the guys at je imports work on stillen superchgers with there own custom tune

but i have heard bad things about stillen f.i including low hp numbers not sure why maybe its there tune that comes with the blower but vortech is a good blower thats what i am using on my mustang

but i like the over all stock look of the gtm kit

Either way, the CBE is a great starting point because you will be getting one anyway for N/A or F/I. Hell, I had my CBE before I had my NISMO, lol.

Right now, Stillen does not have LTH's, only Fast Intentions and PPE Engineering do, and the Stage 2 S/C the Fast Intentions (And probably PPE as well..) LTH's will not fit together.

I think the Stillen kit numbers are fine IF you do a custom tune after install. There seems to be a lot of good reviews on the GTM kit (stage I) but delivery seems to be the main problem...people seem to have to wait for months. At this time if you decide on stage II, you'd still be an early adopter...you may have to deal with some of the associated growing pains as kinks get ironed out.

The Vortech unit is nice, but the Stillen kit is a little too interesting for me. I would roll with one of the GTM F/I options because they already worked out the bugs for the most part. Otherwise I would go custom.......

I got my gtm stage 1 in a week. It was a long week tho. It took a lot longer to return the stillen kit

LOL.....3 related replies at once.

Awesome guys!

I had JE Import Performance weld in the bung for my PLX AFR sensor after another infamous tuner in the region quoted me north of 500 for doing one bung.

I finally saw a Stillen SC in real life. The install due to their intercooler/intake manifold looks nothing like stock where as the GTM SC looks like you just have a set of long tube intakes. Much cleaner in my opinion. I hope my GMT SC gives me none of the headaches his Stillen unit gave/giving him, so far so good...

:iagree:

We have weekly meets on Saturdays alternating between Columbia, MD and Fairfax, VA. You should meet up with us someday, I would love to hear that Ark exhaust in person. :D

Here's a link for more info on the meets:
