on still a work in progress
just got my snow kit looking into getting a pulley size smaller on the vortech i have to measure it but cant remember what size the 9lb pulley is anyways i will be dropping down one more size from that once i get the pulley its back to je imports for the water-meth and pulley install and new tune i was going to go with the cog pulley but i thing this 8-rib should hold up fine now with the 9lb pulley i was seeing 9-10 doing warm weather and 10-11 doing the cold weather i am hoping for a solid 11psi with a more but no overly aggressive tune

ok so i are still working to get that magic 500rwhp number
the water/meth kit and oil cooler is installed once again nice work from the boys at je import on the custom mounting and install just have to filler her up with boost juice then we will put the car back on the dyno also after a few hard runs with the oil cooler normally it would be 220-230 with 250 spikes now it is sitting at 190-200 with 220 spikes so much better on the cooling i am using the 19 row stillen cooler

With that snow kit you should easily hit your 500RWHP goal. If the shop tunes for it just be sure you don't run out of juice or bad things will happen LOL
I wanted 500RWHP in my Challenger and ended up close to 600 or a bit over. It's a bit hairy on street tires. I figured 400RWHP would be phenomenal in a car this light, I can't imagine 500 with this short wheel base go cart of a car LOL |

it's really not that bad...I'm not at 500hp yet but getting closer...within 30-40 right now.
Clean looking install. That looks really nice. Last edited by tower74; 02-23-2012 at 07:11 PM. |

Good luck and I hope you reach your goals!
But, one thing to keep in mind, the biggest gain in power after adding meth injenction is being able to turn the boost up. Do you plan on getting yet another pulley? If not, I really hope there are still a few more degrees of timing left on the table. |

good choice on the meth kit, definitely going to see a good bump in power with some more aggressive timing. the only thing that really bothered me about the stillen setup is that the car is blind to true IAT's. From my understanding if your IAT's are too hot, it should retard timing, if they are cool it would allow for advance. IAT is based of the driver side MAF sensor, and all it can read with stillens setup is ambient air temp.

I will talk to my tuner, I did talk about maybe changing the setup to a blow-throught setup by cutting the piping between the blower and intake an moving 2 Maf sensors to a box config that would go between the blower
Or maybe try and put some kind of ait sensor after the intake manifold inter cooler to get the best true reading I am just guessing here. Thinking out loud

The 9 pound pulley is 2.75 that's what I got when I measured. You can order a smaller pulley from 928 motorsports 928 Motorsports - Porsche® 928 Performance Parts - 8-Rib Power Pulleys for Powerdyne, Vortech, Paxton Superchargers.
If you do I would look into a smaller belt and install a idler pulley like in this picture to get more belt wrap and prevent belt slippage.Stillen Supercharger kit! But once you do this I think your going to Max out your maf's for sure. I did with my set up and 3.12 pulley that comes with the kit. You are doing good with the kit nice choice on the Meth kit nice job
