I think oil cooler is definitely a must with any FI kit.

Hows the sound of the ARK with the HFC? I know that when I did my first setup I went with that Exhaust and berk testpipes and it sounded like A$$.....

Love my current setup though :) HKS+FI Long Tube Headers= Pure Sex

the exhaust sounds ok maybe a little louder then i prefer i am hoping that it will quiet down once i get some miles on it

i am using random tech hfcs

there is some drone between 3500-3750 other then that the car sounds good under wot

i will most likely pull them off and get the longtubes once i do the clutch

Nissan370, what were the final numbers (HP & TQ) and PSI you are writing?
Build looks great, and hope you get to 500 soon.

Nissan370 09-09-2011 07:18 AM

450rwhp/321rwtq @ 8psi

Dan,

I'd love to hear your exhaust setup!

NewYorkJon34 09-21-2011 12:20 AM

how did you get 450whp with 8psi? is this on a dynojet?

Nissan370 09-23-2011 11:52 AM

Yes dynojet personally I prefer mustang dyno numbers but it's your trap speed that gives you a better idea about how fast your car is

I used a mustang dyno for my 2000 mustang gt it dyno Ed 543rwhp but on a dynojet it dyno Ed 585 rwhp but it traps 125-126mph in the quarter mile

When my mustang was only making 430rwhp it was trapping 116-117 in the 1/4 mile

Got to get to the track with the thing

Can't wait to see you and your Z on the track next Friday!

What clutch set-up did you go with?

Nissan370 09-23-2011 05:31 PM

Still on the stock clutch man

9k z project vs line of credit

Line of credit :owned:

I want the og clutch it's 2k

I will do the clutch and header at the same time in a few months

NewYorkJon34 09-23-2011 07:54 PM

Is the OG clutch good?, I know it will still need the upgraded csc, but even with that the stock master cylinder will eventually fail :(

Nissan370 12-09-2011 10:46 AM

Will be dropping the car off on the 19th. To Je imports
To do a smaller pulley 9-10 psi and to put on a set of resonators
And of course a retune .....

This should help clean up the exhaust sound alittle and
Pick up a few more pony's

I will add dyno sheet and exhaust clip when done:tup:

Nissan370 12-21-2011 06:49 AM

ok got the car back from je imports she is running great i am now see about 10psi on the top-end with the (9psi pulley)

my numbers jumped from 450/330 to 480/350 @ 7500rpms
best thing is my over all gains through the power band not so much the top-end

i will post the dyno later
