Wheel Spacers and Forced Induction
I'm thinking about getting spacers all around to get a more aggressive fitment on my Z. My question is; are spacers safe to be used with such high power numbers? When all is said and done, the Z will be making 600+ whp. Are there any safety issues with putting spacers on with this much power to the wheels? (just looking to put on 15mm spacers).

Shouldn't. Make sure you get good quality spacers, such as H&R or Ichiba.

With decent spacers, sure. Under hard use, they will always be a weak point though.
I ran 15mm spacers on my s for hundreds of drag passes with ~150 more hp than you and never had any issues. |
Awesome, was looking at ichiba v2 15mm, so I'll go ahead and order. Thanks guys.

In the for sale section there are h&R 15mm spacers for sale, would anyone be able to confirm that these will hold the extra power with no safety issues?
|
Yup. But I would prefer using the DRS (ones with longer replacement studs) myself.

definitely would go with stud replacements for FI use
