First STILLEN Supercharger 370Z (Switzerland)

Hello 370Z Forum

I would like to introduce myself.
I come from Switzerland and I am 38 years old.
Since May 2010, I am the proud owner of a Nissan 370Z.

In about 2 weeks for me installed a STILLEN supercharger.

I would be very happy if someone could give me information and tips with the handling of the supercharger.

It is the first kit here in Switzerland: :tiphat:

many thanks
and sorry for the not 100% English

Best regards from Switzerland:hello:
Ivo

Hopefully this one doesn't turn ugly

swiss370Z 06-19-2011 12:42 PM

Hello RCZ

I have read your report on the sensational STILLEN Supercharger.

What have you been collected for experience?

Best regards from Switzerland

@weiboy, Thank you for your welcome greetings :hello:

Welcome!

Take a look in the forced induction section. Has a few reviews regarding the Forced induction build. I like to do research before committing to a FI purchase. Just a heads up.

RCZ 06-19-2011 01:02 PM

If its at all possible, please get it tuned by a third party.

sojirovskensi 06-19-2011 01:04 PM

gratz! It'll be much nicer if you post pictures of your progress later on!

WHAt number did you make?

swiss370Z 06-19-2011 01:35 PM

Hello

Here in Switzerland it is possible to enter only 20% more power!:stirthepot:

I only say that Nissan also goes so incredible :driving:

Not set to 100%

Update follows

FI exhaust, etc. ...

Greets

Kirkster 06-19-2011 07:13 PM

Very Cool.

They only let you go up by 20%, kind of odd...

That kind of sucks, hope you can tune it on a dyno dynamics, or mustang dyno.

Welcome aboard OP. Glad you are enjoying your Z. Have fun carving up those beautiful alpine roads. :driving:

Rooskey 06-20-2011 12:44 AM

How do you like the way your car is driving in normal (traffic, day to day) conditions? Are there any problems?

swiss370Z 06-20-2011 02:30 AM

Hi Everybody

Thank you for your welcome greetings.
The Nissan 370Z should be ready by the end of June.

I wanted to ask you again, how the first few miles
should go with the supercharger?

- Retraction?
- At what points should you look? (Liquids, bolts, hoses, etc.)

My Z already has 8,000 miles on the speedometer

Thank you and have a good start to the week:tiphat:

shumby 06-20-2011 02:40 AM

first day after my SC install I drove from Califonia back to Edmonton Canada. 2300 miles in 24.5 hrs. Saw temps from 40C to -15C in a 24 hr period. No issues with it.

So if your shop did a good install job you just got to keep up with the regular checks.

After too much thinking way too much about that silly 20% rule I have a question.

Is that 20% from the manufacturers posted number of 333HP?

If that is the case then you can take it to 399WHP without violating the technicality of that rule. :icon17:

Or do they make you dyno it first, and then only go up 20% from the pre supercharger Dyno number? That would be :ugh2:

What say you???

swiss370Z 06-20-2011 11:48 AM

Hi Kirkster

Unfortunately, the performance gains in Switzerland have to pay only up to 20%.
Anything higher can not afford an ordinary worker! : Gift:

For this reason, the performance is officially registered at about 400 hp.
(hp shall not rwhp!)

The power delivery is already so awesome! (My sense of before and after)

But according to the official tests, we are still a little mess around (ECU, etc.)
Almost a Fast Intetions exhaust is about to mount ...... incl. LTH

We'll see what shows the power measurement afterwards ....

Best regards from Switzerland

Um Hold on a sec... You mean to tell me that you have to PAY the government for the privilege to boost your car by only 20%? And that would be on top of the cost of the SC kit and the VAT and all the other import duties on the cost of the Kit???

swiss370Z 06-20-2011 12:14 PM

Enlightenment tuning in Switzerland:

All changes must be registered with us.

If you want to enter a special modification (turbo or supercharger) official in the vehicle documents, there is a single purchase with us here!

The DTC (Dynamic Test Center) examines the conversion of heart and kidney!
Exhaust gas measurements, performance, noise measurement and parts reports, etc.

For this measurement to 20% more power you have already paid 8000 .- SFR
Currently, about 9,000 U.S. dollars.....

Since it comes at us tuning- crazys joy on?

Sadly that is.....:stirthepot:

da mayor 06-20-2011 02:38 PM

zzdudaka 06-20-2011 09:57 PM

Welcome to the forum!

It stinks you can only improve by 20%, but i hope you enjoy it.
The 370 is pretty impressive from the factory 20% still will be lots more fun. :)

That would be nice .....

Come again 9'000 .- for the kit and the conversion to!

But no matter!
I am absolutely delighted with such modifications (whether turbo or supercharger)
me and my childhood dream was fulfilled so!

So folks, like I expect your feedback after a long test run .....

Best regards from Switzerland

Hello Back from Switzerland

Dear 370Z.com

Sorry for my bad english.....

For a long time nothing more posted!
But ....
Now is the first European 370Z on the road ....:driving::driving:

I can only say:
- 5'000km without problems
- Output to 80% off (for longrun testing)
- absolute Power is here (now without the 100% yield)

We have attached a small video of us (me and my girlfriend)

Nissan 370Z STILLEN Supercharger - YouTube

Hope you enjoy......:icon18:

I like you wheels, nice looking car.

Osiris 09-28-2011 04:51 PM

Just saw your video, ride looks great! Just curious, what are you using for cats?

geohartanto 09-29-2011 10:19 PM

make sure someone fix up your air to fuel ratio!

my Z before tune w stillen supercharger made +30whp = lol

But after tuning that air to fuel ratio thing it made +120 :D

swiss370Z 09-30-2011 11:45 AM

Hello geohartanto

Thank you for your input

My tuner has been a month full accessibility to the setup!
He has been a professional for individual adjustment of the settings
We now also with 120 hp plus

The car has now been adapted for long-term test and will run until the end of year so on!

Next spring will be optimized for the setup again and I will further test the car
go on several trips, and audits.

Since its own setting, the Nissan is running smoothly and very powerful!

PS: If someone from Europe to the "STILLEN" kit has an optimal coordination and wishes then ask in any case with me

Best regards from Switzerland :tiphat:

9 PSI Pulley STILLEN

Dear Z- Community

Someone is out there who has installed a 9 PSI pulley on his STILLEN - Kit

I would like to know what role the pulley is mounted on is.
It is the front-mounted or directly to the supercharger unit on the driving axle of the impeller.

http://www.the370z.com/members/swiss...ger2.htmlWould be very grateful for any information and tips.

Best regards from Switzerland
Ivo & Jasmin

swiss370Z 01-26-2012 10:51 AM

Help please!!!:tiphat:

vividracing 01-26-2012 12:16 PM

The pulley goes on the supercharger, not your stock engine.

I think he's asking where it goes on the Stillen SC assembly...since there is more than one pully on said assembly.

Nissan370 01-28-2012 11:23 AM

The pulley goes on the back of the blower

RCZ 01-28-2012 11:24 AM

I had the 9 psi pulley, no problems whatsoever. I would actually recommend the kit always have the 9 psi pulley...

swiss370Z 02-11-2012 11:30 AM

Hello dear community 370Z

I now have the first test results with the newly configured setup of my tuner.
No increase in boost!

Nissan 370Z Forum - swiss370Z's Album: My RIDE - Picture

The vote was carried with UPRev OSIRIS.

Today I ran the first test run on the road!
(No snow on the road!)
But very, very cold! (As in Switzerland is just the way this time of year!!)

As the line shows, the feeling is when accelerating!
Absolutely linear.

Unfortunately, the performance can not be accommodated on the road, as well as in the 3 gear wheels spin .... (-5 ° C)

I've now gone with the kit 10'000 km without any engine problems!

The 370Z is absolutely brilliant with the kit.

Nissan 370Z STILLEN Supercharger - YouTube

As already said, I can gladly help if someone wants to install this kit in Europe.

More information to follow.

See you soon and to all a good time.:tiphat:
