I'm not so sure!
Maybe I'll paint it black ...

But somehow the metallic, functional aluminum looks good too?

I do not know yet ...

Here is a closer view:

I have it installed now.
Today I will take some test and adjust the final setting.
In the first experiment the car has stuttered.
I have now the spring force with 3 washers, which are included in the kit, increases.

The sound is awesome. Zzzzzschhhhhhh from over 3,500 rpm :driving:

A disadvantage but I have found.
When you drive down a mountain, with over 4,000 rpm
let the BOV constant the air out.
Because the compressor provides a constant charge air
when the throttle is closed and no acceleration is given.

A short movie follows....

BTW:
I have shortened the vacuum hose.
Already 5 centimeter change the previous setting.
The turning the setting is somewhat complicated in installed condition.
It is very difficult to turn the adjusting nut.
Almost no space available. If you have big arms, it is almost impossible.
For that, we have our women :tup::tup::tup:

I couldn't figure out what those washers were for lol. I just installed the bov and didn't bother with them.

Ivo leave it man , That look ROCKs, I never got to see mine but I wouldn't have painted it, Sleeper look enough. Most people would think its a AC condenser or trans cooler , LOL

future370zzz 05-20-2014 03:45 PM

If you paint it black, it's going to get rock chips and looks bad after awhile. Maybe you should polish it up? hahaha

But I honestly have to say:
These brothers run a bit better (all over 550 hp)

LukasC 06-02-2014 12:53 AM

Nice dude! You know we can hang with godzillas now lol u think about it they are 550 crank and we are 500 roughly crank and they have 500 lbs on us so that makes the power to weight pretty dang close!

TKomodo 06-04-2014 11:20 AM

which BOV are you guys referreing to? I must have missed it along the way

ANMVQ 06-04-2014 11:33 AM

Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port Blow-Off Valve. The one I was running also, It recycles and vents to atmosphere :)

I have removed it

The new big head exchanger serves as a splash guard.
It covers almost 95% of the front opening.

Pictures will follow as soon as I have the front back from the paint shop
