Default ARF bung placement???

Where should I put my bung in for my AFR, I am only putting one AFR in.

I am currently keeping my stock cats. I may just buy a used factory passenger cat (the demon bolt is on the drivers side right?) so I can get it done at my leisure.

Anyone have pictures that has done this???

I'm wondering if we can't just use the rear O2 bungs (after cat) for custom widebands. With uprev the rear O2's can be disabled so they should no longer be necessary, but I am not 100% sure here.

This is not the Mid-A section of the forum so I should be good for another hour or so before Mustang or Shadow find this post...

I am pretty sure that they are still in use at this time as they were things that Sam had me logging.

I thought the primary O2's were the widebands (before cat), and the secondary O2's were just to check for cat malfunction.

When I did a oil change the other day, I saw where Sam welded a bung in. It's located more to the top of the cat pipe on the passenger side of course before the cat's.

Yep closest to exhaust always gets you most accurate AFR. On a turbo car you can't place them as close without a spacer/heat sink due to the heat but with SC you should be able to put them as close to the header/manifold as you want.

Well, this isn't a civic lol where the headers are clearly visible and accessible whereas our car's headers are deep

The wideband will need to be before cats, after the cats won't give a correct reading.

yeah for people with cats thats true, a new bung before the cat is best. I have test pipes so I am mostly just wondering if I can fully remove those rear O2's now that they are disabled.
