Talking Question about a single turbo set up?

A recent thread sparked my curiosity on a single turbo set up the only thing instead of keeping both throttle bodies I was wondering if a custom set up can be possible going single throttle body? Maybe a custom intake manifold using a bigger throttle body? what do you guys think? would this be a good idea? Or is it even possible? Thanks for your opinions!

Certainly possible. No real reason to though. If the intake piping is routed properly, it will be fine with the dual.

If you maintain pipe length to both throttle bodies being the same you should have no problem. running 1 throttle body might cause issues.

Yeah, they made a mistake when they did that. Just get the piping run in a way that actually makes sense.

I don’t see the benefit of running one throttle body considering both TB are 2 3/4. I am sure cost will to convert to one TB would be very expensive. Its already proven you can hit big power on this setup. The Stock ecu needs to see both Throttle position sensors, The ecu also uses the MAF’s to regulate each bank. Keep in mind the the TB's on a 370 are there for vacuum the engine speed is determine by the intake cams

We could drop in a LS3 and single turbo that, I’m down if you are
