I spoke to a representative from Jatco, USA, and he wasn't sure whether the Transmission from the RE7R01B (JR711E) would work, as the RE7R01B (JR711E) have Bigger Internals and Torque Converter than our current transmission RE7R01A (JR710E).

Both Transmissions are identical in size but differ in internals.

so technically it should be possible to directly swap the better transmission parts into the stock AT transmission?

Yes, and you would need a bigger Torque Converter.

I also reached out to PAT from Level Ten Transmission to find out if it is possible to do a clean swap and/or what would issues if any would they be.

Yeah I've mentioned that 3 times in various threads here over the past couple of years. Either it doesn't work, or some vendors would rather not talk about that swap being a cheaper alternative. c.f. http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...ml#post1155985

Well the new Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 has a Twin Turbo engine and uses only a 7sp Automatic.

My question would be, is it still the same 7sp AT (RE7R01A) from its predecessor infiniti Q37?
Or a beefed up version. If it is the same, I also wonder if we could swap their 3.0 TT engine into a Z?

Thoughts or anymore info on this one guys?

It's the same 7AT per Stillen.

Sebs from specialty z will tell you he can tune the 7at to be good for 400wtq. It's just that most of the tuners out there have no idea how to tune an AT to hold it.

Yea he did mention this. Hope it is correct, because I am going to find out lol only going with a trans cooler on my TT build, won't be doing anything else to the trans for now.
