I believe the issue with the STG 1 blower was that it couldn't get up that high reliably because it flows less and because of the VVEL overlap issue. That's why, as Sam has pointed out, the STG 1 blower on a 350Z made more HP.

Looking forward to see how this kit performs with GT-R manifold and VVEL tuning. Not to mention an exhaust and HFC's, test pipes, or headers.

That is what I am saying, the efficiency range of the stage 1 is at its max. So trying to run a higher PSI or a lower PSI, on stage 2, is not a worthwhile test.

I do see you point now however, with both units using the same pulley now it doesnt make sense.

I am looking into learning the 3.7's "potential" more and figured what you had posted above. But again a stage 2 @ 8psi would be a nice comparison. |

Ugh! I stay off of the forums for 24 hours and I miss this thread. Andrew had to tell me about it. The "lower" power car Sam has is a G not a Z. He using a couple of cars for testing the Stage 2, mine being one of them. Went to GTM today. It's the home stretch for the S2!!!! Whew!! My patience was wearing thin (shut up Andrew!!), poor Sam for having to deal with me too. Sam thinks my car should be done within 2 weeks (again SHUT UP ANDREW!!!! ). I'm using my ipad, so I'm not sure I can post pics from here. Any ideas, anyone?

Well you guys leave Sam alone so that he can finnish the SC for the 370z.
He needs to be left a lone so that he can finnish the kit. That way I will get my SC and kick a GTR at the drag strip. thanks Z

Right now a stock 2010 gtr runs the 1/4 in 11.75. My N/A 7 AT goes 12.42 with 309 rwhp. bump it to 470 rwhp and my car is light 3372 lb with me in it.
I can not wait till I race one. " soon to be a GTR's worst night mare in the 1.4 mile." Ask Sam about my car .
