Assuming I'm not way off on this, I would think around 15psi would suffice to hit 600whp or darn close, too much for the injectors?

No because the fuel system that comes with the stage 2, is maxed out around 580-600. You need larger injectors at the least to hit 15psi. And even if you do hit 15psi, your then maxing out the stage 2 turbos. Best practices would be not to max out any of your components.

hmmm.. So basically hitting 600whp isnt realistic unless I change my turbos?

Not true. You can get in the 6oo's but your starting to max out the turbos at this point. When you are hitting 600whp on stage 2 you are basically starting to max them out.

Here is a G37 with stage 2 turbos, 3" down pipes with external WG's and 3" exhaust. Check out the link below. He is making 611whp on 100 oct fuel. My bet would be that you could get 650whp out of the stage 2 turbos, you would really be working the turbos hard at this point though.

Sorry for all the questions, just a bit confused. Since I shouldn't max out any of the components, and both the turbos and fuel system max out at around 600, they should both be changed before reaching for 600, correct?

I dont think you need to change any of those items for 600hp (depending of the brand of dyno , ofcourse), but to keep things reliable, you cant keep maxing out the potential of the turbos. But for sure the stock pistons cant take that cylinder pressure @ 12+ psi.

That's great news. Maybe what I'll do then is change the pistons/rods, and set a high boost to aim for 600whp, and a low boost somewhere around 550-560.

So once the pistons/rods are changed, i can up the boost to 13-14 psi to reach for 600whp on my high boost setting, correct?
Also, would it be a good idea to change my head gaskets while I'm at it?

You have to change them to replace the piston/rod but i would use factory nissan head gasket. They MLS which can take quite a beating.

Thanks for the info! I think what I'll end up doing is ordering the stage 1 GTM shortblock and see what my local shop suggests as far as injectors/fuel pump.

If you haven't bought anything yet , the walbro 255 should be fine, but most go with deutsche works 600cc, but i would get a little bigger than those just tuning become a little difficult .

Yeah as of now I have the walbro 255 and denso 600cc injectors. What would you recommend? Keep the walbro 255 and get maybe 800cc Injectors?

I agree, 600cc at that power level is probably close to maxing the duty cycle. go with 800's.
