Nooooo, I read this whole thing and never found the cause of the ticking in the end, did I miss something?

No, you didn't. I just had so many headaches after doing the single turbo build that I dumped the car and got into Vipers...I'm on my 4th Viper since the 370Z now. If I could do it all over again, I would have been patient and purchased a Boosted Performance kit and not been a guinea pig. I still check out classifieds for 370Zs every once in awhile, as I wouldn't mind having another singlet turbo 370Z.
