And that was back in December! I've actually been toying with the idea since the motor started making noise. I found a killer deal and everything fell into place. There's a story to it, which adds to the drama.

I took off work Friday and will be driving 2.5hrs to pick it up!:happydance:

You have to take me for a ride! I have driven a few vipers but on a closed course and didnt get to take them out of 3rd gear. The Viper was a dream car of mine for a long time. Congrats!

Thank you, everyone! I don't know what I'm more excited about...getting rid of the Z or getting the Viper. I'll be sure to post pictures if I have time tomorrow. Driving down to Ft Myers tomorrow morning to make the deal.

just out of curiosity, what are you doing with the Z? Were you able to get the engine replaced under warranty and now just selling it/trading it stock?
