I'd rather not, but I'm afraid the noise is much worse than I had originally thought. So it's either 1/2 the price for an install of a stock motor and part the car out.... or spend twice as much for a built motor installed and continue on my FI journey. I was at this crossroad a few months back and I went forth. Why turn back now?

yeah, it's a tough decision. if you like the car, it's an easy one.

do a proper build the first time...don't half *** it.

Sorry to hear about your motor. Do you know more specifically what went wrong? Also, is this the first FI motor casualty?

Ron 10-19-2011 10:40 AM

I think Ryan has a bent rod(s). No, Gambit blew his on a G (well his tuner did), Forged blew another on a G quite a while back and there's another here in Houston built by Baker Tuning that blew because the owner got too excited with the boost controller lol (from what I hear).
