On 11psi, the car made 506whp at Z1. Then we redid the intake piping, yada yada yada. With the base map Z1 sent me, who knows what power I'm making... but based on the 119mph trap speed, I'm probably around the 450-470whp range on 12psi. I hit 15psi with 100 octane in and the AFRs were still in the safe range and I only trapped 121mph. Now if I was running pump 15psi with close to 600whp...THEN I may be testing the waters

That's what I'm talkin bout! So cooling is good, boost pressure stable, and AFRs are safe? Maybe a dyno for giggles later on?

Wow. Just wow. That acceleration video was amazing, 40-70 in no more than one second.

Wow, great (with major pain though) build.. I read every single page n it took forever but it was like a good book with twist n turns n the evil villian showing himself at the end. I really thought Lutz was taking care or you n doin you right but by the end the truth came out. So sorry to hear your troubles n all the problems u went thru... I felt so bad just reading about it I could only imagine how u felt. I would've prolly been weary when he said he mainly works on BMW n was uP for the challenge on a new platform. I'd prefer proven builders on this platform especially with the kind of money u were throwing at it. No one will prolly really know except you how much this truly cost you.. I'm just happy at the end you finally got it worked out n u did sumthin I don't think anyone else has done so far. Props to you on ur build n for thinkin outside the box. My previous g35 with a gt35r on 8 lbs of boost was a blaaaast to drive.. Spooled quick n screamed all the way to redline. Full boost at 3k Rpms.
Love to see this ride in person someday... Good luck with everything! |
