I'll make another thread once we have the prototype mocked up on the shop car as to not clutter this thread, but we're working on something to be released in early 2012. We're still in the process of finalizing the build, but we expect a tuner-type kit in the $6k range once released. So it'll be complete sans EMS and fuel. Turbo will most likely be a GT35R, yet to be finalized.

Hmm, sounds like another single build. Is a single 35R big enough for a 3.7L? We ran 35Rs on STis that were 2.5L.

35r should be good, was actually talking to buddy of mine who builds custom turbo setups and he recommended a 35r if we ever do my car. If the option came for a proven out system i would def be interested !

A GT35R is way too small to run on a high flowing 3.7 L ... I ran one on my 3.0 L 6G72 with factory camshafts and still easily maxed out the turbo.

For a single turbo setup on the VHR, I would recommend a T4-framed turbo at the very least a 1.06 A/R hotside for a T03-framed turbo. The last thing you want is too much exhaust back pressure and a severe flow restriction at the turbo nozzle.

If you want a GT35R package turbo for the VHR, I would go with an HTA turbo from Forced Performance; maybe their HTA GT3586R or even their 90 lb/min GT37R hybrid.

Ryan were u able to get your turbo timer working? If so, care to share what you did?

I feel like I've just been kicked in the stomache...maybe it's the pasta I had for dinner? Haha. No, really... This week's weather is perfect for once with 0% chance of rain Thursday. I was all excited to take my car to Bradenton to finally see what it does in the quarter. My mom just called and said we are going out to dinner for my sister-in-law's bday Thursday. :shakes head:

Haha, nope. It still only counts down the car in 'Acc' mode, NOT when the ignition is running. I just make sure I don't beat on the car right before I turn the car off.

To hell with her birthday, she'll have one next year. I bet she already had one last year anyway!

Take her with you and celebrate her birthday at the drag strip :icon17:

Ohhh snap! Just checked Bradenton's schedule... They have a test and tune Saturday morning and a Runday Sunday on Sunday morning. If the weather holds up, I'll go Sunday!! Cars and Coffee is Saturday morning and then I'm going tailgating and to the Journey concert at night.

Hell yes! Go on my Facebook and look through my profile pics...you will see how I dressed up for the last Journey concert I went to in summer '08. Doing a new outfit this year.

So plan is Cars and Coffee from 7am-9am. Test and tune from 10am-2pm. Tailgate around 5 and Journey concert at 7. Sunday...we are adding the resonator to the exhaust, replacing the band clamp, and fixing my PS leak.

I drove my first time to my new work today (18 miles each way). Good news is on my way home, outside temps read 104 degrees...The coolant light never budged and oil temps never went about 210 until I boosted it 2nd through 3rd and temps went to 225. The new, cute intercooler worked wonders on my cooling! Bad news... filled the PS reservoir before I left this morning. It was pretty much empty when I got home. No joke...maybe 1cm of fluid left in the reservoir. Not cool! Can't wait to fix it.

Car should be 95% Sunday! Then I'll still contemplate installing the CSF radiator and Stance coilovers sitting in my garage and would like a fine tune...AFR is still too rich at cruise and a tad too lean sometimes at WOT.

Why are you contemplate installing the CSF radiator? You have now so why not put it in? Send it to me and I'll pay it forward.

I could use the money if I sold it...but then again...I told myself I'd install it for added insurance. I have the blue Nissan coolant and 2 bottles of water wetter...maybe I'll do it Sunday if we have time.
