And that was back in December! I've actually been toying with the idea since the motor started making noise. I found a killer deal and everything fell into place. There's a story to it, which adds to the drama.

I took off work Friday and will be driving 2.5hrs to pick it up!:happydance:

You have to take me for a ride! I have driven a few vipers but on a closed course and didnt get to take them out of 3rd gear. The Viper was a dream car of mine for a long time. Congrats!

Thank you, everyone! I don't know what I'm more excited about...getting rid of the Z or getting the Viper. I'll be sure to post pictures if I have time tomorrow. Driving down to Ft Myers tomorrow morning to make the deal.

just out of curiosity, what are you doing with the Z? Were you able to get the engine replaced under warranty and now just selling it/trading it stock?

Just for home...what a longgggg day!

It was great seeing you guys again (Tristan and Ryan). Thanks for meeting up with us. I wish we had time to stop by and show you the Viper, but our time at the dealer took longer than expected.

Bedtime...up at 4am to take my parents to the airport and then the Viper's first meet at Ferrari of Tampa Bay at 8:30am.

Another long day of cruising. We visited a small get together at Ferrari of Tampa Bay, got brunch, and then cruised the beach. Then we went to a Tampa Car Meet at night and cruised through South Tampa (popular night spot) afterwards...after picking up my new intake :)

It's been no - stop. The car is so cheap and unforgiving... And I friggin LOVE it!!! I'll be sure to post pictures tomorrow night.
