Oil Change in SC'd Z

Hi, I just got my Z supercharged, and my auto guy (Kaizen Tuning) told me to get an oil and filter change for every 300 miles. Does this sound right?

You are missing a zero, 3,000 miles is a popular oil change interval for cars that are driven hard or have FI. Some say that is overkill and you can probably get away with 5,000 mile intervals but I always have the policy of "better safe than sorry."

I could see maybe doing it after the first 300 miles but after every 300 no way.

Probably meant to change after the first 300 miles. I'd do 3-4k after that, depending on how hard you are on the car.

i change my SC'd G37 every 5000 km. 3125miles. I think he is missing the "0" at the end. they is no reason to do it every 300 not even righ tafter the install cuz they should have changed your oil with the install. I have over 30000km on my SC and the 5000km change has been working well for me
