Definitely not normal. Given that your oil temps are 210F or so, this is purely a radiator/coolant system issue and not an overall cooling issue.

I'd start by checking the coolant level when the engine has cooled down. When you remove the radiator cap, it should be pretty much filled to the brim. Also, your overflow reservoir should be between the Max and Min (fill to the Max when you're sure the rest of the system is full). If both of those levels check out, there is an air purge valve at the top of the radiator, passenger side. Have some towels ready to catch overflow, and then open the screw to the purge to ensure there's no air in there. If no coolant comes out, pour coolant into the radiator fill spout until there is overflow, and then close the purge. Run the motor for 5 min, shut it down, let it cool, and recheck the level in the radiator spout. Fill to full again.

If all that checks out, then you may have a bad water pump. Any CEL or codes when you scan the car?

The water temp gauge is ALWAYS one dot below middle once the car comes up to temp. It's also a terrible gauge and doesn't budge from that LED unless temps are WAAAAY off normal. You should be able to read exact coolant temps with a ScanGauge or similar to know where you really stand. Keep us posted.

This car is currently running DISTILLED WATER / and AN ADDITIVE to replace factory engine coolant. Could that be the reason why is doing this? There are no CEL's or anything.

100 degree weather is very common in the states, You have a mechanical issue, It could be as simple one like system is low on fluid or a bad thermostat all the way to major problem like a head gasket . For the car to over heat while it is idling, Its is defiantly a mechanical problem.

Best of luck

Could be the exact reason for problems especially if he didn't use enough water wetter. I know one bottle is enough to make a difference on a normal system, but you need a couple if i remember the chart correctly to make a difference on a car running pure water.

the car is perfect now, someone advised me that it takes some time for the new coolent to be runnin properly and the air gets 100% out , so wht ill do is
wait for sometime and see wht happens, if the problems occurs again,i will start by changing the coolent to a normal coolent liquid(mobile) for example andsome water wetter or something like that and make sure the air is out,ill
also install a new CSF radiator just to be in the safe side, ohh by the way ,yes i am in the middle east, and the car does have 2 oil coolers thanks to the owner of the car that didnt spare anything to make the car so damn
good, the best guy to deal with period.

i tried the car today at 6pm , it was 32c, hot night, and its perfect , but didnt stop for a long time , but regardless ill do wht i mentioned above.

ill keep u posted on the outcome when i change the coolent and radiator
so all of us know who are in hot climates should do it as well and not run distlled water, although i dont think thats the issue/was the issue , but we will see , thank u all for sharing
