the car is perfect now, someone advised me that it takes some time for the new coolent to be runnin properly and the air gets 100% out , so wht ill do is
wait for sometime and see wht happens, if the problems occurs again,i will start by changing the coolent to a normal coolent liquid(mobile) for example andsome water wetter or something like that and make sure the air is out,ill also install a new CSF radiator just to be in the safe side, ohh by the way ,yes i am in the middle east, and the car does have 2 oil coolers thanks to the owner of the car that didnt spare anything to make the car so damn good, the best guy to deal with period. i tried the car today at 6pm , it was 32c, hot night, and its perfect , but didnt stop for a long time , but regardless ill do wht i mentioned above. ill keep u posted on the outcome when i change the coolent and radiator so all of us know who are in hot climates should do it as well and not run distlled water, although i dont think thats the issue/was the issue , but we will see , thank u all for sharing |

I had a issue just like yours. Thought the car was over heating when it really wasn't. was the temp sensor the dealer said. they replaced it and never again happen. At night or with the weather cool it would work fine but when it got hot out for some damn reason it would stick or do what ever it's not sapose to do lol maybe check that

maybe your right bro !because or some weired reason it says 34c or 36c since 2 days now and doesnt come down or up !!although its so cold out it was 34 or 36 in the morning but now its 1am our house temp reader says 23 and the car says 34 i said maybe cuz the car parked under the sun so give it sometime , so i drove it around and around and the bugger doesnt change !
it would be a good idea to start getting the cable to start reading the ecu and diagnose everything .but damnn man i just got the car so i dont wana go and do this and that and this and that , it will take the fun out of it , my only reason that i bought a GTM tt kit on a 370z is the reliability and the almost no issues found in them , not like other kits , over heat, leaks, weired noises, boost leak etc etc , so til now i am having 0 issue and even the issue didnt occure again , but i cant really say because ive been driving at night only , i am on vecation so am enjoying my vecation sleeping in my bed all afternoon heheheheheh but all i wana say guys i wish everyone can listen to my advise, if you dont have a gtm tt kit u wont understand the meaning of this is how it supposed to be out of the factory period !!!! wht do u guys advise in terms of servicing the car always and taking care of it , oil, plugs, coolent etc etc change these in time , wht else do u guys advise to be checked every 3000 miles or so ? |

The outside temperature gauge has nothing to do with the engine temperature gauge. The external temperature gauge gives faulty readings when it is moved from its stock location, i.e. to install a intercooler or an oil cooler. It needs to be in direct fresh air several inches away from other hot components.
The engine temperature sensor (coolant) is threaded into the water outlet piece. To find it, follow the hose that goes from the radiator cap towards the engine, away from the radiator, the piece that you arrive at is the water outlet pipe. Move your hand a couple of inches to the right and you will see the sensor with wires sticking out. The sensor is fairly fragile, so if there is a chance it has taken a beating I would just replace it. A new sensor is $25.

I am running gtm stg2 on my car and am in Dubai. So u can say it's the same climate, and yes I agree with u, by far one of the best kits specially wghen it comes to those small components like clamps and rubbers... All top notch.
Anyways with regards to ur issue, I had the same problem till I blessed the system proerly and I can drive it on summer withalmost 48 to 50 degree's without any overheating issue... The only overheat issue am facing is when when I push it all the way to redline from 2 to 5 ... The more I get into gears the temp goes up but once I let of the gas pedal or sto the temp goes down quickly,!!!! Can't figure out why!!!! Use a nismo thermostat. And make sure to get an oil cooler. Again bleed ur system properly and I guess ur issue will be solved.

Well yes guys q8 is a short cut for Kuwait and maybe ur right abt the sensor being faulty I'll look into that later , and I did change the thermostat and coolent and added an additive as well , I have no issue going in wot wht so ever , the issue only occurred when I was stopping for 15min or so , it went 3dots above normal , but it never did it again , am on the process soon to change the radiator , and do some bleeding and maybe change the coolant as well although it's brand new , and I will give it a try again when it gets hotter in the 40's or 50's and I will let u know . By the way who ever is in Dubai wht coolant did u use ? Thanks
