It just needs to be bled correctly. Has anyone ever adjusted the clutch pedal, master cyl rod in your car? |

Adjusting the Rod will fix this issue if you bled the clutch properly...Had a little issue with this at first...Adjusted the Rod just to feel out the clutch then I expereinced he issue of half way and clutch sticking (Not coming off 100%)....Once I readjusted the Rod, the problem went away and haven't had any issues since...Got 760+ miles and still feeling great...(BTW I am running the ZSpeed HD Slave with Stage 2 Southbend DXD Clutch with Upgraded Pressure Plate and Southbend Flywheel)

The samething happens to me! It's like the clutch gets stuck to the floor and I have to use my toe to bring it up. Sometimes it last for a day or two, then it's like magic! All of sudden it's better. I don't get it? Either way I just ordered a competition stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel, and I'm planning on ordering the Zspeed hd csc.

Joe, assuming the pushrod has never been touched as it came from the factory, should it still be necessary to readjust to bleed?
Can you post or pm the link to the updated installation instructions? Thanks |

I had mine adjusted the first time the CSC was replaced with the new one, but it was adjusted after bleeding. The reason for adjusting was to reduce the free play towards the top. I had it set so there is about 0.5" of free play till you feel the firmness.
As much as most of us prefer a lower engagement point, it's just higher with these cars. If the engagement point is too low, then there's not enough pressure to disengage making it difficult to shift. Once you get it properly bled, the pedal feeling will remain consistent regardless of time of day.
