GTM, what's the explanation for what is in the PICS? Can you confirm that you sent parts that looked like that?

Man this sucks so bad... I dream about a SC kit at night....

GTM didn't Comment on the PICs, and that's my main concern

:tup:Thanks for noticing these points.

Nismo370 03-09-2011 06:06 PM

I'll post later but for now I'm at work:

shipping to guam takes 2 wks priority mail from Indiana (place of residence)

GTM has sent new items (slow shipping as mentioned before)

OP is not Joe...its this guy

Guam has a 1/4 mile track and autoX...but I C what you mean, no highways is an epic fail

Real quick, the video was a way to SHOW that what was said in the dragon thread by chii370 wasnt a lie. It was a way to show our side and numbers. Of course GTM is going to post here, just look at the title. Everyones story has 2 sides...stories usually involve more then 1 person.

I had no intention of video getting onto the forum and is why It was never posted by the wife or I. I also wanted to keep the dragon thread clean and not to create a mess.

even if sam did fix the problem and sent destiny the new parts already... the main point here is

you dont advertise to someone that they will invest 8,000 dollars on a kit but instead of getting a new kit they receive a beat up kit.... thats not acceptable no matter what angle you look at it. its just not right :shakes head: ill leave it to everyone if they believe that crap was damaged in shipping ill make a video of me putting a intake tube in a box that is nicely packed and sealed and then spending then next 5 minutes throwing it to the floor with force just to compare the damages that gtm has claimed "shipping caused" no matter how hard i throw it on the floor there wont be grind marks or black grime on it.... or maybe i gotta throw the box on a really dirty floor to make ONLY the inlets dirty and grimey

I have two brother-in-laws in the USPS, and when I actually see them I always ask about the current horror stories regarding the USPS. I can assure you that the USPS could have caused some of the damage I saw in the photographs. If you look at the timeline it was the worst time to place an order to be shipped through USPS as it was Christmas/New Years holidays—the busiest time of the year with the most mail to handle. In one of my conversations with a brother-in-law he said that they were so deluged with packages that they were throwing and kicking packages across the floor into a large pile even if the package stated "Fragile" on the outside.

GTM made the mistake of going against their better judgment of using the USPS; the holidays are a bad time to send USPS, and to order custom goods such as a TT setup (people tend to have other things on their mind during these times); there are at least two stories to every side and truth resides somewhere in between.

Now, here's what do know: I salute Joe for serving our country as I come from staunch military family involved all the way, and including the Pentagon; I also respect the vendors making products for the 370Z as there are really so very few these days (even less making turbo setups).

Parts got thrown in a box that were bad and the people that do the shipping thought it to be new and associated with the parts he needs. Could have been prevented, but hey **** happens. The story was stated from sam and from Joe's wife. Sam is sending the new parts you stressed your concern but yet continue to rant like a little child. I don't think he would ship this purposely because any half brain moron knows that this is going to raise a alarm and now he has to deal with the situation yet again and get all new **** shipped. Why would someone intentionally do this? come on people. If your using this for a reason not to buy a GTM FI kit I laugh at you because there are more success then failures with this kit on are forum. I actually think this is the first and only issue present.

I hope it is the first and the last. I honestly wouldn't want anyone to go through this.

Then came up with excuses every time Joe called as to the reason why products hadn't been shipped yet. Not manning up and Calling Joe the moment he knew there was a problem. Even though he said things would be done. This is were the frustration is coming from. That is the other reason why the video was made. I believe it states that in the beginning of the video.

GTM's actions spoke much louder than there words.

in other words:

When GTM would give me a timeline/day that the new items would be shipped etc and it wouldn't happen...He would not inform me unless I contacted him. He did email me 1 time about something not being able to happen. This also happend with the original shipments. BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING...I understand its a business and GTM deals with more people them just me. I only wanted to try and make her post clear because I didn't fully understand.

I think that is what she is saying...

Everyone needs to calm down too, you guys are everywhere and the SAME EXACT THINGS are being said over and over and over.......get it.

posters who go back n' forth (Joes right, GTM is right) make up your mind and stick with it plz. We are both right in many aspects. Wording has alot to do with peoples perseption on what is said and can also create assumptions if not properly said/typed.

The MAJOR ISSUE now is installing in time for the car to ship. Like said before, if this didn't happen then I would already have it installed and ordering more parts so I can play even harder :) there would be no vehicle shipment issues.

Im sure Sam is going to still help me out (I dont want to find post), I have no fear in that. Like in the Navy, being put in such a high position means YOUR name is the one people will see. The guys below you never get mentioned and have less responsibility. Just so happens someone messed up somewhere and "Sam" is the name that is out there and is why I would have rather kept this to "GTM" because it's not just him who is involved.

Another problem is, like I said, This isn't the 1st things I have shipped here. Had the same setup on the last car and so far this is the only shipping issue with this car. All the care packages I have recieved in the past 3 years have also been unscathed.

@bullitt: I could tell you were becoming very short and upset, trying to use insults like "immature"... "bad grammer" and "...kids" I'm 22 and she is 31 (refer to Kieri avatar :) . Insults are not needed and I do believe you may be the only one using them on the regular. I apologize for anything said, on anyones behalf, that made you upset.

@GTM: Thank you for being proffessional about the situation and for posting your side of what happened.

Honestly don't care if they sell or not. GTM knows exactly why I'm upset and if you were the person going through this you'd be singing a different tune. Just like if Joe received and undamaged kit. You'd be watch a GTM is freaking awesome and Rock video titled Check Out my new TT kit. It's just an experience. Just happens to be a bad one.

I completely understand what you are saying but...they made the mistake of poor packaging. TBO I did warn Sam and did say to be sure that the packaging is top knoch. He did say that they are "OCD" with shipping and is when I became confident I was in excelent hands.

I also understand your personal time constraints regarding the military. Not an easy life.

You make a some valid points. When I spoke with Sam I told him instead of telling Joe the boxes would be the in about 3wk. he should have just said strait out. "I just want to point out to you in case you forgot. This a a busy time of year and I'm going to Hold off shipping till the second week of Jan"
Then to email Joe saying the last boxes shipped already. Then ship those last boxes a week later. :shakes head: fail. I'm guess that is why when Joe kept asking for the tracking numbers for the boxes GTM had no reply. Oh that right. Sam said his email wasn't working and only after I spoke to him and told him we need a stronger line of communication. He gave an alternate line of communication. I commend him for that. By that time his regular email was working fine.
Anyway,These dates 1/11/11 & 2/4/11 are the Dates that GTM Dropped the boxes off put the date next to there name and signed for shipping. If he had just been honest and upfront as I told him before. We wouldn't have a problem. Well as far as the shipping goes as for the rest...

Just a case of another bad customer, right?

There are 8300 reasons why there should be a clear, logical explanation why the parts arrived in that condition.
