First 2 runs are in 4th gear Second run is in 3rd gear Forth run is in 5th gear 62.7 F 29.7 in Hg Dynojet AWD dyno not the 2wd only done at P&L motorsports here in Chicago EDIT: NO MODS THIS IS STOCK EXHAUST (no cats removed) and also the wideband was place in the rear. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/c...ll4Runsrpm.jpg And to compare with the before. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/c...ll4runsrpm.jpg |
just so people dont gotta go back and look can you list your supporting mods?
P.S nice numbers yo! |

No mods. This is it. Stock exhaust no cats removed. |
Great numbers, Did you get the Apache sound taken care of yet lol
DAN |
The apache sound has been fixed at GTM. I'm getting a new pipe. Its taking a week longer because I had my stuff powder coated. Sam is providing this at no charge.

Frank Edit: looks like damn near the advertised numbers. Is this a custom tune or one provided by GTM and you had to flash the ECU |
GTM's advertised numbers are right on spot! Good job!
I'm jealous and sad! |
very nice and thanks for posting!
|
great numbers congrats man, any plans for exhaust upgrades?

Awesome numbers! Want to trade superchargers?:ugh2: it comes with 8 different tunes!
|
Sorry if I missed it, is this a stage 1 system? Great numbers either way, the power delivery/curve looks absolutely lovely!

^ thats what I was wondering too. Is this stage 0? They advertised "Up to 450" and then the stage 1 is "Up to 500" lol. I hope stage 1 isnt stage0 + exhaust (as it normally is) because that means an exhaust is worth 80hp lol. Considering everyone else is claiming they are getting their stage 2 soon...which is supposed to make up to 550 lol. I'd really love to see that. I guess when you put "up to" before it, you can write whatever you want. Shouldve just said "Up to 600" with supporting nitrous.
Anyway, what PSI were you hitting on these runs? I'm not too surprised, I thought it would be close with both units at 8psi. Looks pretty good for having no exhaust. I'd expect that with exhaust you'd be around where I am. Nice numbers though. Congrats on getting rid of the flutter too. Enjoy the car. Oh and HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
good numbers. Changed my mind a bit
|
This is a stage 1 kit.

ohhh frank.... lol
Since that was stage 1, wonder what stage 2 will handle with minor upgrades |

With the same Supercharger same pulley size that we are making 8 psi with on a VQ37VHR and making roughly 410-420 rwhp, take same setup configuration and install it on a VQ35HR engine and you will make 14 psi and roughly 475 to 487 RWHP ( we have done it ). Why ? One engine has VVEL and the other does not. Our stage 1 supercharger kit is sized perfectly to this engine and that is why we are getting the great torque curve and power that we are getting, Now if you ask me how can we increase the boost pressure on a stage 1 ...simple answer control The VVEL witch we are about to do that here shortly. We just started the testing phase. Sam |
So Sam let me understand this, you are saying you have control of the VVEL
Frank Not trying to de-rail but this is huge news |

So, this is where 5th grade level math comes into play...ready? The OP made 278 whp (that's the average of the four runs posted) with his stock car. Assuming that his car was making the Nissan advertised 332bhp we can divide 278 by 332 to find out that 84% of the power is making its way to the wheels (according to the dynojet). Now, let's take the average of the four supercharged runs which is 417whp. Now we can divide that number by 84% and guess what we get? An average of 498 crank horsepower. Sure, 2hp less than our advertised 500bhp, but as you can see from the four runs, it is well with the standard deviation from pull to pull. No nitrous required for our supercharger kit to make the advertised horsepower...also, no cats were harmed during testing. ;) |
Thanks for the clarification GTM!

This is awesome!
Thanks Fezzik for posting up the dyno graphs. |

Great numbers guys! Is this on a CARB legal kit?
Also, why is there less torque with the s/c below 2750 rpms? Is there that much parasitic loss? |

Sorry, the lines were blending together and I kept looking only at the single TQ line above the rest.
I wonder if the AF being adjusted would balance that out, it is also weird 3 of the runs are very low and then 1 is way above the rest. |

great numbers...im very tempted to go the gtm route. Is the stage 1 kit carb legal or is it just the stage 0 kit?

In regards to the initial numbers. The guy started it off mostly at 2500 rpms when recording so there will be inconsistancies. The highest torque I had in the low end (2500rpm) range was with the supercharger in 4th gear. 25 torque more
