Ah, ok. Weiboy should at least go to stock for a while and recoup some $ and then when he is ready, get whatever he wants to get. That way he can also make sure the source of his problems weren't elsewhere on the car..at least thats my advice fwiw.

That may be good advice. Make sure the engine is ok before doing anything else, esp running with the det problem.

THanks for your advice, nobody will know what's the condition of my engine. If it blows I'll rebuild. THere's not much choice. Also, I'm not the only one who's experiencing the same problems I'm having.

hmm. The person who does the uninstall, I'd have them do a check of the engine while its apart anyway.

I wasnt try to say there IS something wrong with the engine. Just make sure its all good since the engine will be partly tore down or if its taken out a good inspection.

Holy old thread, Batman.

Has anyone tried running a smaller pulley on the blower, and running a wastegate/blowoff valve set up controlled by a boost controller? Ive been listening to a friend with a Paxton Novi 2200 mustang talk about it on his new mustang. I did some research on it and the gains are very impressive. Power comes on alot faster and the torque increase is amazing! Seems like there are several ways to set it up. Im just curious what the increase would be on the Z. Im trying to decide between a supercharger and twin turbos right now.
