Also thinking about it might be good to learn the new clutch before adding all that power... so I don't pull a Brad coming out of Baker.

Also besides a new clutch I would try to ready some 3" down pipes with external waste gates (not BOV's on them lol). Also HKS EVC boost controller and if you really want to be ready grab a HKS camp2 and HKS AFK unit to read knock and AIR/FUEL ratios. Now you really see Im a HKS whore The external waste gates really helps out if you are installing a boost controller. It gives more consistency when modulating boost then internal waste gates and they sound really cool too Yeah that would not be good lol. So sad to see a real JDM s14 total a rim and strut arms . I am thinking about the OS clutch as well but all so considering the exeddy clutch too. Wish someone could tell me the pros and cons of both. I dont really want a leg work out every time I drive my car either.

See the stock clutch is pretty soft in my opinion... I definitely enjoy the feel and consistency of a performance clutch. Not really sure on exhaust, I kinda want a GTM or a fab titanium but that could get pricey!
I was thinking about that HKS boost controller -- how exactly is the knob set up? can you adjust your low and high points? If I want to run, say, 4-5 psi for a mild boost on a track day will I be able to dial it that far back? Then 10 for cruising the streets :-D I guess it also depends on turbo selection fast/big spool. This is why I want to get on land and talk with Sam!

There are a few boosted owners with the HKS EVC 6. I'm taking the same route as well (minimum boost at low setting, and roughly 8 PSI for the high setting). Mine is daily driven, so it is going to be a conservative setup. In other words, whatever the 305s can handle

-- As for the HKS EVC 6. I own one, but I have been waiting on my 3" down pipes with external waste gates and BOV relocation pipes from Sam before I install the boost controller.
