Do you know why they combine two cores side-by-side? Seems like the bumper would block more than half the airflow to each side.

I agree, I think its terrible. Its huge, plus they are bar and plate inter coolers, so they are supper heavy. :roflpuke2:

Im a supercharger guy my self to.

JWT is good about using heat shields over there turbos and manifolds. So under hood temps. stay decent. I personalty wouldn't use any type of force induction, without an oil cooler and at least some Water Wetter.

umm, bar and plate is the best intercooler design you can buy, who cares about a extra few pounds when your cooling your turbos more efficiently.

Definitely looks like a great kit! Cant wait to see some numbers.

Their twin intercooler design has worked very well for a long time. It supported a lot of power for a long time on the DDM Z as well:tup:

Can't wait until this comes out!

yeah, no thanks. Strictly bolt on under the $1500 price range. This thing is probably going to be like 10K +

dankirlin 05-02-2009 09:58 AM

Any guesses on the price range of this?

Jim Wolf only sells kits to authorized installers. Their VQ35 TT kits are usually in the price range of $10k installed and tuned. I am not sure if there is more labor involed with the VQ37HR kits or not, but I would count on them being around that price.

and I was right...

If its in the same ballpark as other tuners kits for the VHR your looking at $10-11k installed and tuned.

Sharif@Forged 07-01-2009 05:28 PM

My guess is that a complete kit will be priced about $7500-$8500. Installation about $3000. You are both probably about right. :)

I haven't heard of them going forward with a 370Z kit unfortunatetly. I can definitely ask on Monday if there is any progress.
