Oh yes, it is always a good day to see a TT build starting up! Good luck with everything.

So you decided against the GT3, huh? Good call, methinks.

Good luck with the build!

You're going to need to upgrade the fuel system to push 580whp. Pretty sure 580 would be pushing things... most all of the TT guys are running around ~450whp.

ok, I think then, that the "weak" point here is the fuel system, but my question is: at what point??? how far can I go stock fuel system, and when I have to put pump and bigger injectors???

because the engine is awesome!!!!!

Yep, the only way anybody is going to hit 580 WHP on the stock block is to run E85 or at least race gas.... both of which necessitate extra fuel capacity which is pretty massive at that kind of power level (700 bhp or so).

Though, the VHR doesn't like to make massive amounts of torque, so you may be able to get away with a serious amount of top-end power before you bust a piston. Torque kills rods, power kills pistons - generally speaking.

580 crank HP is probably closer to the actual limit.

Any turbo build is going to necessitate a higher capacity pump and injectors. The smallest injectors I'd ever use for a 450 WHP target would be 550 cc/min. You can do it while maxing out 440 cc/min injectors, but it's just dumb.

There is motivation of course, to run the smallest injectors possible on any platform. Driveability being the main one, but as people unlock the stock ECU further, that becomes less of an issue.

You can get 580 RWHP on a set of 600cc injectors and 255 wallbro pump, Here is a graph with our TT kit turn key fuel system . And yes this will be pushing things to the limit .

My goals are to be in the mid 400's without upgrading the fuel system. I think that's more than reasonable for a daily driver in order to retain traction. I can always get a boost controller later on, and up the boost to 9 or 10 if I get bored of 8.

I should probabbly just leave it at 7 psi because afterall it is my daily driver and I want it to be reliable. I cant wait!!!!

400-500whp is a really sweet range for a RWD street car, especially one like the Z. I'm sure you'll love it.

If you went with internally gated turbos i would do a boost controller regardless of if you want to go more than 7psi or not. Even if the wastegate spring pressure is the "perfect" PSI, you will have a lot better spool up with a decent controller on it.
