But then xbigb4ller69z presses that majic button and adds 100whp+ on the fly and passes RCZ like he is standing still :stirthepot: But wait xbigb4ller69z is not getting a boost controller so that is not an option. :p

and now after I re-read that, xbigb4ller69z you really should get a boost controller. Look into the evc-s very inexpensive and it gets the job done.

I don't get it. Are you already boosted up too high??

JB-370z 11-13-2010 12:41 PM

And here is the majic little button I am talking about:
HKS EVC SBC Trigger

All you need is a HKS EVC-S or EVC5 or 6. Just program how much boost you want to add when you press the button and for how to hold that boost setting until it goes back to default boost. ;)

On my old tune which from my understanding was conservative at 7 psi i made about 410 rwhp. when i up the boost to 10 psi and the highest it read was 11.5 psi, I was at 460 rwhp. Like i sad that was a conservative tune and i saposably wasn't pulling that myuch timing. I havent yet dyno the non conservative tune.
So the way I look at it now, me and RCz car would be competative, because I have no other facts to prove other wise. Also TBH thats fine with me if 460 is my max power because my goal was 450-500.

Thats just nuts! With a stage 2 kit 550 should not be hard to hit at all! I have two tunes, a conservative tune and one with a little more agressive timmings.

IDK lol like I said that was all done on the conservative. Sam sent me a more aggressive tune but I didn't have it dyno yet with that one. I also have 2 tunes a conservative one and a aggressive one. But like i said I am not going to claim what that will make since i have no facts to prove it yet. I know when I puch it, 1-4 I am going sideways lol

Boost controller or not, the car is going to be fast enough for me... eventually I'll get used to it, and buy a boost controller. The kit was sent with 8PSI, I'm basing 7 PSI because typically you lose about a pound. My goal is to be in the mid 400's with my current setup on a MUSTANG dyno. If I get it, great... if not, then I'll buy a boost controller and then I'll come after RCZ, in a push of a button... haha :stirthepot:

Isn't this like scramble boost?

I doubt 7psi will put you in the mid 450s on a mustang dyno.

Well, this was supposed to stay under wraps, but in the future, I will be able to push a magic button too and guess what? I will have more boost than you turbo folks from 2500rpm to redline. How do you like them apples? :p You know you can run wastegates and a boost controller on a supercharger too right? Yeah, what now? :stirthepot:

Don't know what kind of dyno's at Z1 but I get about 512 at just over 8PSI on 93 octane. Have boost controller and MAF meter. This with Stillen exhaust and HFC. When I get new clutch (Spring) I want to dial in 10 for about 540 WHP. John at Z1 has pics on his gallery and can back up numbers. BTW do NOT drop the hammer in cold weather (42 degrees) unless you like going sideways, this with an LSD. :-)
