Good find, but dang! if you do the math after buying all sensors we're looking at about $1,000 if not more! lol that's crazy

Talk to Chris...we drove Ian Snell's Evo X MR from Orlando to Pittsburgh and the car had the ARK gauge. I like it, but I just thought it was too small.

I know he told me about Ark Design, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the 370z because is not turbo from the factory. I called Ark but no one answers the phone?? dont know

DIGItonium 11-10-2010 03:57 PM

This may be too late to ask, but can you do a before/after sound footage of the exhaust? I, too have the TDX 12", and I would like to get an idea of what the exhaust sounds like before and after.

JB-370z 11-10-2010 09:23 PM

What stage did you go with? Those Turbos look bigger than mine.

LOL I would never do that job again unless I pull the motor out. It is such a PITA with the motor sitting in.
Frank

PS: Those turbos do look a little bigger for a stage one.

Its all good when one of the top Nissan certified mech's in u.s. does it. Jason Langley from Baker Tuning had my engine droped within 30-45 min. hahahaha it pays to have your turbos installed at a tuning shop that is also a Nissan Dealership hahaha :happydance:

Your not going to go with a boost controller?!?! Do those 3" down pipes have external waste gates to go with them?? It's going to sound mean!

I'm going to leave it 7 pounds daily driver. It should hold up fine. It is external waste gates... it's going to sound reallyyyy mean lol :icon18:

Cool, thanks man. The build should be done Sunday hopefully... im tired of driving my girlfriends sentra lol:bowrofl:

RCZ 11-12-2010 07:52 AM

Booooo why leave at 7 pounds?? Come on. Didn't you get the memo. 10lbs or go home. Its still relatively safe at 10 psi / 500whp for daily driving. Otherwise what's the point of getting twinturbo??

"relatively safe".... lol. Raul you coming up here when it gets tuned?

RCZ 11-12-2010 08:01 AM

I say relatively safe because it would be safe with a good tune and could be unsafe with a bad one. Jayfightmoves ran 12PSI at the Sebring Redline Timeattack event in 105 degree florida heat for like 40 laps on stock internals. He had a much much better cooling system, but you could get away with something smaller on the street and run 10psi all day.

I'm not, I'm flying out on business in like 3 hours (again). I didn't even get to enjoy my new wheels that much :(

jnaut 11-12-2010 08:25 AM

Yes i do agree, with a good tune. have a sfe trip good buddy :)

BeachZTT 11-12-2010 08:31 AM

EBC!!! It's really nice to add ~100whp at the push of a button. :)

wow that is sweet. if the motor drop was 45 min, what was total down time to have the kit installed?

lol, 10lbs would be nice, but I'd like this setup to last lol. I guess I can always get a boost controller later on, and up the boost if needed. 7-8pounds of boost should be plenty fun for me, coming from a stock Z w/ just the F.I. exhaust :happydance:

Yes, it will a totally different car. rcz's car was night and day difference!! and yours should be more!!

RCZ 11-12-2010 09:17 PM

not at 7psi it shouldnt ;)

Brazilbro 11-12-2010 11:15 PM

I'm not going to up my boost from 7psi till I get some 335's in the back!.. 7psi is more then enought to burn the tires up into 4th.
