Nw vq37 tt
Hello,
First post over here, but am looking all the time as the FI chat is alot more active than on Myg37. Anyways, I have a G37 that has been down at GTM getting thier TT kit installed. There are a few new items that will apply and lend more info for the 370 too so I thought I would post up here as well. I have not seen any FI installs from up here in the NW, so I thought I would post some pics of mine. The car is still down at GTM, but is up and running and will be on the dyno for tuning next week. I have an appointment for September 3rd to fly down and pick her up. It is mostly a standard build but with a few different items - here are the specs: The Standard Stuff: GTM Stage 1 TT Kit Ceramic Coated Turbines, Manifolds and Downpipes External Wastegates and Down Pipes No Cats 3 Inch GTM Exhaust HKS EVC Boost Controller Heavy Duty Oil Cooler Some New Stuff: Kinetix Intake Plenum GTM CarPC Monitoring System Synapse Engineering Syncronic BOV's Here are the pics that I have so far (couplers & hoses are getting changed to black) - More to come |

Very nice setup! You going to have a before and after dyno of the Kinetix manifold?

It looks gorgeous, but when I had my 350z on the old Vq that thing was horrible. It truly looked amazing, but it lost power, and tuning on forced induction was horrible.

Yeah, worst case we can just yank it off and put on the stock plenum. Also, I just got an email from Tony at Motordyne saying that they are in the final production of thier intake plenum for the vq37, the M370 and that it will be out soon.

It was first done by a member called Modme on Myg37. It is a windows based, solid state mini PC that fully integrates with the stock display (touchscreen enabled too). It monitors everything the HKS camp II does plus AFR. Further, you can choose different skins for the display, use the PC to store music, videos etc... This is the first car GTM is installing it on and will see if it is viable to release as a product..

What version of Windows? What did he use to program it? Does he plan to support more than Nissan/Infiniti cars?

Windows 7. There is a program called Dash Command that interfaces with the sensors and provides the GUI. Can't tell you about other models of cars, but I would think it can be used across many platforms..

Unless that was designed on a flowbench or you have before and after dynos N/A, I'd start looking for an OEM IM to put back on just in case...
