What's the performance difference between the two?

Looking at posted dynos, it looks like LTH's, which eliminate the cat, tend to make about 2-3% more power from baseline than test pipes.

That translates into 6 - 8 more whp than TP's alone... I could be a bit off, but I think that's about right.

Only on the 350Z HR. G sedan uses dual intakes as well.

Wait, I thought people were losing a bit of power with LTHs on SC'ed Z?

From my understanding people are losing power with the LTHs. If they were gaining power people would not be holding back dyno info. I also remember shumby was losing power and thats why he went back to the stock ones. Maybe I am confused but I am pretty sure of it.

On the VQ35HR GTM S/C kits the fluttering sound seems alot more noticable on the G35 which has the dual air filter intake setup, the 350Z has the single air filter intake and it sounds like the fluttering is only during shifts.

Oh, sorry -- that was dumb of me -- was basing that on N/A dynos I have looked at.

That said, I'm surprised that people are losing power with a blower and headers... that doesn't quite make sense.

Even if you are making less boost, given the same S/C output, boost is just a measure of restriction, and better flow generally means more power. Tune issue maybe?
