**Product Announcement** GTM Twin Turbo Kit for VQ37VHR
This is currently produced for the Infiniti G37, but well see how far off this kit will be for the 370Z
With all of GTM's Capabilities, Track records and our passion for what we do best, it was only a matter of time before GTM would develop an extensive range of Turbo Kits available directly to you. We are very proud to introduce the GTM product line of turbo kits for the VQ platform VQ35DE, VQ35DE-REVUP, VQ35HR AND VQ37VHR. All our turbo kits are available in a tuner kit form so the professional and the end user have the flexibility of choosing what ever fuel, engine management they may desire and feel comfortable using. With that being said, GTM will also offer an extensive range of fuel system and engine management modules to go with our turbo kits. Below is a description of all the components of the kit: - Cast Ductile Iron Exhaust Manifolds And Turbine Housing - Pre-Bent Stainless Steel Heat Shields - Exhauset Manifold Install Hardware Kit - 4-Ply High Resistance Nomex Silicon coupler - Stainless Steel T-Bolt clamps - 3.5 x 13 x 24 Bar and PLate Core Intercooler Rated 1000hp - GTM Steering Coupler - Polished Stainless Steel and Tig Welded Piping - Pre-made steel braided oil and coolant Supply & Return lines - Garrett's Twin ball bearing water & oil cooled turbocharger - Twin Cold Air Intake System (using k&n filters) - Duel TiAL 50mm Blow-off Valve - HKS Internal Wastegate Actuators (standard option) - Tial 38mm external Wastegate(optionl)with GTM Downpips - All Necessary Hardware and Installation Instructions

I can only imagine what kind of numbers this TT kit will put on the 370Z. I guess only time will tell.

Somehow Im a bit skeptical of these cars pulling off 490 to the wheels with a fully stock motor. as the chart claims. Also, if that is a stock motor, it wont be a motor for much longer.
Im a skeptic by heart, but I do like what I see there. and the actual turbocharger is a VERY good one Had a GT3037 on my eclipse. Which model is this one? Also, doesnt the actual bumper affect negatively the intercooler's performance? What boost are you running to get those numbers? Any issues with the tuning? |

Like I said, if it is a stock motor, it wont be for very long. The G37 has only been out for a year. That long isnt enough IMO to blow your motor. But these are rock solid motors, and they should last a LONG time. but that LONG time will be brought down to 2 or 3 years with 500whp.

You do have to remember though this is on only about 10-12 intercooled psi. I have seen 10+ pounds of boost on a motor upwards of 10.5:1 compression and it held up excellently. It really all comes down to how good of a tune you have on it. No engine pushed hard enough even stock will last a life time, but yes this will sacrifice the longevity of the motor but I think it will be fine. Like I said it all depends on the tune.

Longevity is greatly related to how the car is driven. For example, an engine boosted and tuned to 1000 WHp will last a long time if it is never driven at max power. Any car (including stock ones) that are beaten will not last as long. We're already hearing of problems with a stock GTR on launch control if it is driven hard.
Even with my low boost controller setting of 5-6 psi on my VQ35HR, hooking it up is very difficult, even with 285 tires. Maybe this is a blessing to help the drive train survive? Even though I'm tuned to 9-10 psi, I hardly ever go there. |

Hello everyone ... same terrycs that's on all the other sites. Since all the VQ are pretty much share a lot of common components, I'm here to learn about the new Z as well.

I'd like to see how the bottom end is holding up in the boosted cars pushing 490 or better to the ground. Has anyone pulled apart a vq37 after it's been driven for a while like this?
And yeah, it's true that you still need to beat on the car to get it to wear. But I'm sure that anyone who's putting 490 to ground or better isn't driving it slow up on ramps and what not. I drive my Solstice very grandpa like until I get to on-ramps, long straight aways, and when I see an opertunity to get it sideways! Trust me, the car spends MOST of the time in the boost!
