Yes ... torque falls off [affecting the rate of acceleration] when HP takes over. Just realized that you have a G35 ... different motor than the 370. I have been down to AAM to 'visit' my car ... and there is no room to fiddle around in that cramped motor compartment at all! They would have to pull the motor to do any work on the Turbos. I did speak with them and they are aware of my concerns regarding the/my need for power up top since I do plan to run the 1/4 with it. I am running 9.5:1 CR with 1300 Injectors so I'll be needing a lot of air to keep up. The stock Turbo's are in the car and we are waiting on a few more parts to come in before the Dyno Day arrives to see how it all works together before finalizing the decision to change the Turbos. Probably will speak with them again regarding all this beforehand to see what is involved cost wise to do this. In the meantime I will still be fishing for more info! Thanks,

When the car was shipped down there they didn't have that option - or they just didn't mention it to me. Thanks,

As far as I know, Alterception is the first and only person who has purchased the upgrade so far. My knowledge on it is very limited, but I'm not sure if it is a direct turbo swap, or if something inside the turbo is swapped out, still using the original housing.

Yeah. To reach my power goals I was going to have to buy a new turbo, get the larger 3 inch charge piping, and possibly modify the downpipe to allow more flow. I was given a pretty incredible deal (sponsorship) through AAM, so I decided to make the switch to their kit. It was a pretty unique opportunity that came at a perfect time.

I have no issues with the BP kit by any means. After some thought and number crunching, it was actually a tad bit cheaper to switch kits believe it or not. Modifying the downpipe would have been pretty expensive, the turbo, and the new charge pipes.... after adding all of that and what I could sell the BP kit for, it was cheaper to get the AAM kit. As part of my contract, Ill be giving my review of the AAM kit, and my experiences with both kits and how they fare against each other. It won't be apples and apples because of the different power levels, but another bit of research to help other forum members in their searches.

How much boost? Did you get a torque number?
