Yup, Seb could only get me 556whp because he could not keep the torque down. It was 552 and when he quit on 100 octane. If I remember you had a similar issue with your beast as it likes to make torque as well.

Yup. But going with the 3" intakes actually got the torque down some.

Going to E85 after the summer so we'll see where we end up.

You put the 3" intakes on?

Yup. Made that upgrade in May when my MAFs were maxed. Power changed from 503/465 to 510/440.

TopgunZ 07-30-2015 11:10 AM

You re-tuned for 7 more hp and 25 less tq?

Isn't the reason to be able to turn the boost up a few more psi? If you did then you should have seen at least 550.

2011 sport with touring package
Stillen kit w/ 9lb pulley
439rwhp and 327ftlbs of torque
Stillen headers, test pipes and their cat back exhaust
Custom tune r/t tuning
About 10k miles on kit
Lots of cooling mods!

No. I retuned because I was out of MAF sensor, which is why I upgraded to Sasha's 3" intake piping. It was a lot hotter in the shop on the retune day so I figure I lost slightly less torque than shown and gained slightly more HP than shown.

The key is I feel with the upgraded 3" intakes giving head room on the MAF sensors, the overall tune is healthier, which is what really matters.

I want no part of 550whp on pump gas. When I upgrade to 1000cc and E85, I'm going to have it tuned to 550whp. At the same time I'm making the jump to EcuTek.

Nice. Cant wait to see how that turns out for you. Maybe Ill jump on the EcuTek wagon as well if it shows good gains.

Nice. That's a lot of HP for 8.5lbs of boost

I thought so too! Hit the number I was hoping for without worrying about too much boost! Especially on 91 octane

Hey Drew,

Glad you have such good results. Where did you have it tuned at?

MAC Autosport in parker. Everything is running great except for once in a while it doesnt want to start without a little gas. Not a huge deal just kinda annoying
