Added a few more people, but also got the graphs updated with more details.
Now when you view a graph, you will see an owners name - fuel, this will allow people to know what power output they got with what fuel.
Currently only did the TT guys as they seem to be the one with differences, others are either 91/93 mostly.

Hi theDreamer!

I was just wondering, is it just me or is nobody able to view the pictures you posted, they all show up as image icons when I click on the "Show Spoiler" button. Can anyone confirm/disprove this? Thanks!

Hotrodz 09-11-2014 08:58 PM

I just tried viewing it and I got no joy!

theDreamer 09-12-2014 10:25 AM

Made an edit, are you able to view them now?
Attempting to use a different hosting method so the graphs are larger, but still working on permission settings so the images are public.

I still get nothing

theDreamer 09-12-2014 10:38 AM

Any better?

jwick 09-12-2014 10:40 AM

I see them now

theDreamer 09-12-2014 10:43 AM

Excellent! Using dropbox lets me use full size graphs, they were starting to get hard to read with more & more items added.
Jwick, you or chuck ever get yourselves on Jtran's new dyno?

Not yet. Afraid of this Texas heat and dynoing. I'll be getting a return Oct/Nov

This seems to be the best place to ask. From my reading previously 500-550 rwhp is the safe range for DD a TT setup w/ stock internals. Has this changed now that more are pushing 600+?

I have the same question lool just for the future... i want my Z with a TT kit... if i install Forged Rods & Pistons i will be ok for that power o i need another engine parts, like forged crankshaft, Sleeves.... I know the fuel rails, fuel pump and bigger injectors are essentially for any turbo build.

Tracking (ring racing) plus boost is still a limited subject.
Very few are on the track with TT, I know a few with SC hitting up track events but that is a good bit less heat and low to mid 400whp range so very different. On the statement of safe, it comes down to keeping the engine in check. Such as keep coolant (water/oil/etc) as low as you can while pushing the car and then a very solid tune that does not push the engine. Especially since on the track you spend much of the time in the upper RPM range to maximize speed/performance, this can be brutal for a stock block.

Carlitos, with many engines pushing mid 500 and above I would say depending on your power requirement and how often you track I would skip the built block. Keeping the engine untouched can be a very wise choice, because once you open it up you introduce a whole new level of problems, especially on the track.

Here is a good write up by DjTodd on TT on the track:

At the top of the thread is his current build list on the car to give you an idea of what he has done.

Thanks a lot Dreamer.. in the future if i install a TT kit to my Z i be more than happy with 470-500 whp... i think with that power is more than sufficient to handle the car in a track with out problem... of course with good tires and brakes setup

Thanks my friend for the help!!

Cool to see another member from Puerto Rico. If you go this route in the future bro as i did, keep in mind the fuel as well. There are a few TT builds that have make over 500whp with 91 octane but that crappy octane fuel is still my #1 concern for the stock block even with a good tune since were i live i don't have the option for higher octane fuel.
