Me to. I hope it's worth it since I spent a boat load of cash to do this. If it doesn't have the appeal I am putting a for sale sign on it LOL

None yet I talked to them today about possibly installing a boost controller for me. I have been looking at the EVC-S and looks like it is kind of hard to install or maybe I am just making it seem like that. They wanted any where from 400-600 to install it and I think that is a little high. I did alot of reading online of other hks instructions and none of them seem to match the setup that is on my car.

Any help like a diagram would be greatly appreciated on how to run all the vacuum hoses and where to connect them.

I am not familiar with that particular ebc but that seems a little on the high side to me too. I am running a Profec B SpecII in the Z32TT. I can't imagine not having it to dial down the hp. I run "low" boost almost all the time. Keep in mind that low boost for me is about 13.5 psi though.

Um... when she come back right, you won't even dream of selling her.

Alright let me update the community and bring this thread back to life.

I got my car back last Tuesday. I waited on the update because i wanted to drive it and see how it goes. So right now I have been driving it everyday for the last week and i am loving every min of it. The power is smooth and not erratic through the power band. My boost kicks in around 3000 RPM and it puts you in your seat a little bit. As for fuel economy I am pretty much getting the same MPG as I did before the kit.

Now while it was at the shop they put it on the dyno and I will post the run sheet. Before everyone jumps all over it please keep in mind that this is off the internal waste gates and for everyone's knowledge i want to say they are rated at .4 bar which is about 5.88 psi. PSI can be different though depending on how he adjusted them. Also my tq is a little low in this run because like I said it is off the waste gates but SAM told me that is easy to get that up higher with the boost controller. I do not know exactly why he didn't dyno the car with the boost controller set up. Personally I think he mainly put it on there just to verify tune and wasn't trying to see the biggest number he could get out of it. So with that said I am in luck. My buddy owns a 2007 Z06 vette with a built motor and supercharged. Tomorrow he rented a dyno for the whole day since he has some things he is doing to his car(don't know exactly)and requires it to be on the dyno to do it. Well he is going to let me strap my car down and do some pulls with it and see what it is doing with the boost controller set up. I will post those runs tomorrow.

As for the shops impression of the GTM kit, they were completely amazed with it and he told me that he has never seen a kit so well put together and that also fitted so nice before. Then he continued to say that he wouldn't have expected anything else though since it did come from GTM. To me that meant alot and it showed me that I purchased the right kit for my car. So anyone considering to go with someone else, I recommend you give GTM a call before you make any decisions.

Well with out further A-do here is what you been waiting for.

^^ Good to see some progression. Ive been feeling guilty letting you all charge forward as test subjects. I do appreciate all those that have taken a chance, as the rest of us will no doubt benefit from all your hard work, money and research.

I'm excited to see what you make with the MBC! keep us posted, and congratz!

That's a smooth progression and nice power band. How is it for everyday driving? So what's it like under 3k RPM since boost hasn't kicked in yet?

Honestly the car feels the same as driving it before i put the twin turbo kit on untill i stomp on it. I can drive the car around and never be under boost untill I want to. As for everyday driving, I don't see why anyone couldn't. Like I said I really didn't notice any differance in my MPG. I am sure I would if I was driving around everywhere like speed racer but thats with any car. All in all the car feels exactly the same but with a nice increase in power and it will only come if you want it to.

Congrats Frank! I was going to PM you last week and see how things were going... but I saw something shiney and got distracted. Glad to hear things are going your way. Can't wait to see it.

I think most people still think of lag when they think turbos. I tell people all the time that one of my favorite things about the TT is that when you aren't getting in it, it is a very pleasant normal drive. But when you do get on it, she shows her other side.

Happy boosting my friend! I think you will be very happy with the dyno session.

That's nice to know to be able to maintain stock feel with the power to go when needed. Also, what is it like near 50% throttle and steady through the gears? I'm definitely going to try to push for Spring '11

with your install!

Bummer on the work schedule. I was hoping you could make the next Cars and Coffee Williamsburg on the 18th. If you haven't already, check out my album. http://www.the370z.com/members/beach...liamsburg.html Great turnout for the first event and lots of Z's!

I will catch up with you before too long and check her out. Can't wait to see her! I can feel the bug starting already...
