G'day People

I've been following this forum for quite some time but this is my first post. So have mercy on me.

Looking at GTM's website, they have twin turbo kits under the "Forced Induction" section and the "Power Packages" section, yet they seem to be different.

I'm only referring to the 370Z units. Anyone know the difference and why the supercharger kits only exist in the "Forced Induction" section and not in the "Power Packages" section.

Any clarification would be great, thanks.

because the GTM website sucks. Great company but good lord does that site need work.you search for a 370 and you get about half 370 parts and half 350 parts. if you don't fill out the search form completely it doesn't work right and if you search for something and the quick go over to the side tabs to change category sometimes it forgets what you searched for so one minute you're looking at 370 engine parts and the next you're looking at a bunch of suspension stuff for a wrx. there is a ton of stuff on there too so when it gets all jumbled it's like you're trying to pull off the 7 hit combo for liu kang in Mk3, while putting together a 500 piece puzzle.

Also drop your text size back down to normal please

The best thing to do is call GTM and spend some time talking with them, they know what they are talking about and if you have a plan of what you want they will help you get there properly.

1st reply and you're already flaming GTM? You managed to write an entire paragraph yet not answer a simple question?

OP, nothing is wrong with GTM's website. The twin turbo kit listed under forced induction is just that, a TT kit. The power package however includes other parts such as oil filter, engine oil, coolant liquid, etc as well as full installation and dyno runs before and after.

The force induction section is for all online parts only purchases so if you want to by a turbo kit online then select you car and do your shopping. The power packages are parts and labor packages for someone that is bringing the car in to our facility , it presents all what you are getting in parts and labor for that package

This is a complete package including installation and Dynometer testing before and after. Expected gains can vary from 450-500 BHP (or more) with the proper exhaust system.

Thank you for your input, Our website can be a great tool when used correctly, it has a lot of custom code written to cater for what we offer and we do offer a lot stuff, Once you are familiar with how the website works then it can be a great tool for the end user, now it does mean that there is no glitch's in the system.

I will look into what you have experienced .

c'mon man it's one of my bookmarks i use it to search around and when i find something i'm interested in i pm or call sam. I'm caling it like it is the website needs someone hired on full time to error check it and restructure the search. i'm not flaming gtm it's just that i really think their website is more of a catalog and for any technical questions or ordering you are much better off calling and talking to sales.

Edit: here's a small example before you get your panties in a bunch about how i'm just hating 4.2l or 4.5l and doesn't changing a bore 4mm affect that?

If you can figure the search out you will notice that the 4.2 and 4.5 stroker kits are apparently exactly the same. someone needs to go through and make it so that one is the 4.2 liter unsleeved kit, and one is the 4.5l sleeved kit then make them 2 different packages with 2 different prices, and actually say if there is a price difference between the arias pistons and the wiseco pistons and list the compression ratio differences for each if there is one. and there are lots more pages like this. it has gotten better though the last time i did that search i apparently could have bought the stroker kit for the vq35de that was in my car for some reason?

right now someone could place an online order for the 4.2 liter kit, paypal them 6000 and then b*tch when it doesn't have sleeves or 100mm pistons or if 6000 is the price for a sleeved 4.5l block they could be p*ssed for buying a 4.2l unsleeved block when they could have had the 4.5 for the same money
