Sorry I just checked back here. I didn't mean to offend anyone and I have no idea what was said and then deleted. There is certainly a degree of cutting edge application to this build; there is no denying that. Its just the dramatic, almost heroic fashion in which you talk about it, JB, that makes me wonder if you're getting DP'd by Sam and Bullitt while writing this stuff.
Either way, wayy off topic and I apologize Bullitt. We have talked before and I have respect for your originality and attention to detail. Let me say it again that its really exciting to watch this build and I, like probably everyone else in the community, am looking forward to seeing this one unravel. You are certainly on the cutting edge with this build and without a doubt you are going to run into problems that will need solutions. Those solutions will undoubtedly help others in the future so I can definitely appreciate how this build is helping the community and adding value to this forum. Keep up the good work and try not to blow stuff up. |

Thanks RCZ!
What do you mean by DP'd? I have as much ties to JB as I do to you... As far as Sam and JB... well JB is just another customer. No offense JB I am just trying to illustrate to RCZ that there is no behind the scenes agenda on our threads. We are just passionate RCZ just as you are for Stillen products. Back on topic: we expect some difficulties to come with this large of a build and Sam and I have discussed them privately. I am hoping for the best outcome for this project. Like you put it we will try not to blow anything up... I just... must... resist using........ Unicorn Blood.... INJECTION.... |

I did NOT look at how UB defines this term, but I assume they got it right. (Pun intended) |

I have talked with Sam and from our conversations if Sam decides to get a booth at SEMA my car will be there. I will also make the trip out there too :)

Just reading this thread and some of the comments in it leaves me feeling that, as a forum and community, we take one step forward and two steps back. In truth, these types of threads should never boil down to "shop wars", but seemingly they always do. This build and what GTM is doing is pioneering at its best. For those who disagree, well, I guess you have never been a member of another community and watched the 'typical' progress that occurs over the years. Getting into the 1000whp range is usually a 3-6 year process, if that short.
Mike, good luck with this build. You are in good hands. Of course I will be following this closely. |
I had a big response written, but I'm gonna pass out of respect for Bullitt and GTM's build thread. Lets keep this thread on topic folks.
