Well it looks like i'll end up going with Stillen. I don't like companies that beat around the bush and can't take 30 seconds to make a forum post to keep people in the loop. I've dealt with that too much in the past.

The aftermarket for these cars is starting to feel like something of a joke. :shakes head:

what did somone else have to do that? :stirthepot:

But Im sure both kits will be pretty good after they have been on a few cars and they can get a better understanding of their kits from being on multiple cars. I dont think any kit has been perfect in its first year of conception. Im still partial to GTM and all with their FMIC and slightly better numbers.

Really the more they are on here the less they can do their job (both companies), which isnt being on the web typing messages. Just cuz they dont answer every question right away on here doesnt mean they arent responsible or sensitive to our needs. We cant be too spoiled by the forum.

Take five minutes and give them a call, forums are not usually priority when they are trying to work on cars.

really they are trying to develope, refine and install kits and we are just here typing on a forum. Who has more time on their hands? A phone call by us is too simple.

Lets keep in mind Sam@GTM posts on the forums AND turns wrenches...

From what I gather, he always picks up the phone, so get your update there.

DarkZide 07-20-2010 10:38 AM

It would be faster to make 1 30 second post rather than answer 75 phone calls. :icon14:

Actually Sam has his phone on him 24rhs a day this i know for a fact. His shop does not have a sales department with salesmen with little knowledge of the product other then the price like stillen does. The formes are not the best place to contact him. I spent 2 weeks working with Sam in his shop and there is not one guy there that has spare time. When you do get Sam online it is usually one of his meny days that he is at the shop until midnight or later. Drop him a line give him a call. he will be more then happy to talk to you.

That's wonderful, where are the damn results?

m4a1mustang 07-20-2010 03:35 PM

It probably would be a good idea to have a dedicated sales/marketing guy, though. Just sayin'. :stirthepot:

RCZ 07-20-2010 03:51 PM

I was going to post about that, but didnt want to feed the fire. I mean, why wouldnt Sam do EVERYTHING?

Why wouldnt you want someone who is building turbo/sc kits pulling all nighters?

But you could argue that it'd increase consumer confidence and boost sales.

shumby 07-20-2010 04:06 PM

Raise the price and no one would've bought this kit.
