The torque is looking great, I wonder with HFC you can get it up to 400HP without losing any torque. Thoughts?

The 6 psi is purely related to the size of the pulley right now, We could have gotten more psi by going a smaller pulley, also we have to remember that the 390 RWHP is equivalent to about 410 RWHP on a M/T car .

You can get more boost by going a smaller pulley but for a guy that drove 2300 miles and waiting on his car in hotel room on us to finish the work, I felt the 6 psi is playing it safe right now. there was no room to for anything to go wrong .

Take the same combination and throw it on a M/T car and a Z not a G and you will automatically make more then 400 RWHP.

Big mistake on his part. When you take your car significant distance to have a specific shop do the work, it is silly to take the ultra conservative route. He could have found joe blows shop down the street to do that. He should have planned it out better so you had all the time you needed to take this farther.

390 is a ho-hum number and I look forward to seeing future builds at 8PSI+ on a G37 before I make my choice of kits.

I was expecting more, cannot lie. Its nice and all, but why wasnt the full 8 psi hit again? I mean I know you said you wanted to be safe, but wasnt 8 psi the number you advertised and have spoke about being a safe number?

I understand that, but from what I remember 8 psi was playing it safe, so 6 psi seems like total and EXTREME overkill

Customer is always right though.
Shumby wanted certain numbers so Sam did what the customer wanted, I am sure if Shumby said 8PSI safely Sam could do it.

I think you are missing the point, My concern was not the boost or the Hp numbers, the concern here is the torque the car made 340 RWTQ on a stock 7 A/T . couple more psi would have been over 360 RWTQ . for a stock 7 a/t and a customer out of the country waiting on the car, i was not willing to take that risk .

Beside shunby was happy with results so why take a chance .

Have all you guy forgoten that shumby's car is a 7 AT. He is the first GTM on a 7AT. The block can take 8 psig but what about the trensmision? If he blows a tranney on the way home im sure that he would not be happy, Sam did the right thing with the 6 lb pulley. When he gets a VB and torque converter in his car it will be ok to step it up to 8 lbs of boost.
My 370z 7 At has 320rwhp with N/A modes and it very fast. It can be a hand full to drive. 380 rwhp with a lot more torque is a very fast car. Shumbys car is going to be close to high 11 to low 12. second 1/4 mile car. Thats awfull quick.
Mine should be shipped to me soon. it will come with all the 8 lbs goodies, oh sam i can not wait to get it.
