I say build your Z to be a daily driven beast, build the block and boost it to 14-16 psi, you'll smoke any and all, and nobody will know what hit them, imagine.. sitting at a stoplight... yellow Gallardo pulls up, windows are down, he gives you a wink, light changes, and poor fella is shat upon by a $30,000 "best bang for the buck" sports hatch, c'mon, you know how amazing that would feel? Oh, and more importantly, do you know how much more amazing it would feel to see the look on his trophy wifes face after her husband was completely embarrassed by a Nissan? oh man, i wish i had money to blow...

wow, that guy is having a hell of a time keeping that thing on the street, hell, 750whp is overkill, 500-550 would be ideal for a daily driven dream crusher.

My ideal whp range is probably 450-550. Above that, you have a car that is unweildy on takeoffs and slower speed 'hammer drops'. Sure an 800whp Z could crush your face with acceleration from 60-120mph, but I'm not interested in smoking my tires off through 4th gear. As someone earlier said, a 500whp 370Z would stomp most exotics and be daily-driveable. As Leno would say, I have 'an emotional attachment' to my 370Z. Would I have that with an R8? Probably. But for now, I love my girl and would really enjoy seeing her become a real sleeper. BTW, why don't we have more vids from Bullitt's monster Z build???

you could always add a second fancy car later, how many supercharged or TT'ed Z's exist currently? how many R8's and GT3s are on the streets? nuff said.

If you get an R8 or the GT3 then you have a very nice car with very nice power and wont have to worry about warranty and aftermarket FI issues which will come with any aftermarket FI. So if money permits get the R8 or GT3. The last time I was at the Nissan dealership there was a GTR there that they guy payed cash for then sent it out to get all kinds of upgrades, bigger turbos was one of them. He was there for a leak in one of the turbo lines or something, which he has to pay for.
