That's what I like to hear.

stormcrow should lead the pack so we can "try" to catch up although I doubt we'll even come close.

Nah. I will take the rear. I need some rock chips in my freshly painted front bumper and I don't want to hold the hardcore drivers up.

So how does your TT370z compare to the GTR you owned..power, fun factor, acceleration etc.. likes or dislikes so far?

You know you are always more than welcome to ride along...and drive some, as well. Yup, it's Saturday. Meet before and then ride out. My only caveat is that I had promised a friend that we would go to the range! Bro, you and I are always either driving or shooting. *lol* I hate to bail on my friend, but am considering it as I get very few nice weekends to bang on the car and it looks to be a nice Saturday. Ugh. Sometimes it sucks being a "good guy".

The GT-R was much quicker out of the hole. It spooled faster and the AWD couldn't be touched from a launch. As far as acceleration goes, the Z seems to peel back the speedo more quickly, but the GT-R had more felt torque so it was deceptive. I feel a much greater connection with the Z due to the more compact body and feel as well as the actual clutch pedal and shifter. The Z seems to handle better, IMHO, than the GT-R did. My Z feels much more stable (less body roll) than the GT-R did, but I am on coilovers and do have sway bars whereas the GT-R was only lowered on springs. That said, the GT-R..I couldn't push it hard enough on the mountain roads to feel like it was ever about to get away from me. I am excited to see how the 370 performs on the same roads. With my 350Z TT VQ35DE/GReddy TT combo, I had a LOT of feathering to do to keep from losing the a$$ end on those mountain roads. No LSD and 600ft lbs of torque coming on in 1500 RPMs made for a wild ride.

Overall I am happier with the 370 than I was with the GT-R. For my street driving, it more than suffices and keeps me connected to the car.

Well storm I am stealing your thread lol. Today was day 1 of getting my car ready for the installation. Tomorrow the the exhaust comes with the test pipes and oil cooler. On wed my TT kit will be here, well most of it, and the rest comes in on thurday. The spacing out of everything is nice since it allows me to keep up with it. So taday I removed the front bumber, intakes, removed both headers, stearing coupler, and the entire exhaust. Every thing was going great till I got to the driver side header. That damn thing is a major pain in the rear, like what was Nissan thinking lol. I am going to wait till last before putting the echaust in that way i have more room on the ground. So the plan for tomorrow is I am going to drop the oil pan, remove the intake manifold, remove the O2 sensors, and get the fuel rails ready for the new injectors. Also will probably get the oil cooler installed since that goes behind the inner-cooler. Just letting you know where I am at, I think I did awsome and got alot done today consider three bolts on the driver side header were stuck in there.

toner, good progress... the manifold bolt issue is often discussed on this board. i think there are a few posts that discuss how to get at it

Thanks

It's that steering link on the driver side that makes things so difficult.
