Also, it's been a couple of years. Are you the same guy that owned a red 350 with Greddy twins? If so, you might remember me. My old screen name from My350z was vizage. Meet you several times. I'm the one who wrecked my nice z in the mountains. You weren't there the moment it happened, but you came up later to check it out. You were very supportive, thanks! Hope the best on your build.
+1 on doing your homework.

I am the very same guy. And yes, it has been a while. I remember your accident...I also remember being so nervous about it that I had to bum a cigarette from you! *ahaha* How are you liking the G37? (i think that is what you replaced the Z with, no?)

Scott! What's crackin', sir? Thanks for the kudos, mang! I won't be at the next event, but I will definitely be out that way sometime this year to meet up with you. I need to swing by and see Sam and some of the AEPerformance guys, so I will swing by my new home, Fontana Nissan. *haha*

I wish I had seen this thread before I ordered polished piping, I would have gone with the black PC. I guess I could always have them blasted and coated...

My intuition leads me to believe these spacers will raise the center of gravity of the engine, which is something I do not like.

Also, let me know when you take delivery of the car because I would love to nag you about oil temps. and how they have changed
The purpose of the spacers is to allow for the different sized turbo housings from Stage 1 all the way through Stage 6. They are small...I think it spaces the engine only 1/4" or a tad better. It will not affect the CG of the engine in the least. This is why I saw it as a non-factor for my build.

As far as oil temps go...Sam assures me that his oil cooler will suffice. I hope he is right. If not, I have a backup plan...though Sam doesn't like it! *haha*

I have an oil cooler and an oil pan spacer, and I haven't seen temps over 215 yet. It's 85 degrees here for reference. I don't think you will have an issue with a cooler on.

I loved it for the time I had it. Ended up getting married, currently buying a home, and having to drop a chunk of change on all new furniture. So that's currently where our money is going. Probably be a couple of years before before you see me back in the scene. But I will be back. My wife supports my hobby so much and knows what it means to me. She's trying to get me to buy one now. But due to all the spending that's happing now I couldn't do all I want to my new ride off the bat. And that's the only I'll have it this time around. I just can't drive a stock Z (lol).

I don't have an oil pan spacer, so I'm still running the stock amount of oil. I'm hoping not to have oil temp issues, but GA summers are 90+ degrees and high humidity. Stop and go traffic in ATL doesn't lend itself to much airflow, either. *haha* We shall see.

Thanks. Can't wait to be back. Maybe we'll cross paths soon. Good luck with everything in the mean time.
