What does carbon have to do with it? Cats don't reduce carbon.

lets get back on track and keep hounding stillen until the give us a price range and date range on this SC

jmlenz 05-28-2009 01:45 AM

cant wait to see what stillen has up their sleeve!

For reference, does someone know what Stillen charges for their 350 S/C kit? installation cost?

jmlenz 05-28-2009 02:07 AM

also, after reading about the 350 S/C on Stillens website it states that the kit was r&d'd for almost a year before it went on sale...guess we can expect the same for the 370 kit. Also states that a 7th injector is used in the intake plenum for the 350 kit. Wonder if 370 will be the same

I would guess the kit is being R&D'd on a g37 (since they came out in 2008). Then it's just minor changes to plumbing and mounting brackets to make it all work.

Josh@STILLEN 06-01-2009 11:41 PM

lol.. sorry.. you left the barn door open..

No additional info yet, but it is a high priority. It's still in development, it will be a ways out, but we're working on it.

Take your time, I need to save up for it anyways. If it comes out too soon I won't be able to afford it yet and it's gonna be painful.

This doesn't mean much, but I wrote to ATI, Vortech, Procharger, Hennesey as well as Heffner and some other tuners asking if they would do a supercharger for the 370z. After all, if enough people are asking, they'll make one!

Most of them said no, they had no plans to do a supercharger for the 370z. Interstingly, Hennesey wrote back and said that someone else had a project in the works that should be out by the end of summer that they could install for me:

"We are anticipating a supercharger for the stock bottom end 370z to be available around the end of summer. We do not develop
the superchargers in house and it does take time for these systems to become available to the aftermarket."

I wonder who their supercharger kit supplier could be?

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to trust Hennesey.
